30th March 2020 at 2:57 pm #92450I saw a comment the other day about homeschooling and the simple fact that millions of parents all over the world are suddenly discovering that perhaps their little darlings aren’t as “innocent” as they claim and perhaps the teachers aren’t really to blame… π
Have to say though, my little monkey’s teacher has been brilliant, uploading video’s on Youtube and holding “conferences” with the class and all that.

30th March 2020 at 3:03 pm #92451That’s the way lads best we keep it all light-hearted from here especially given where life is right now.
Whatever we may think won’t have any impact on what is finally decided re the PL anyway. I blame Harry Kane.?
No point in us falling out about something we’ve got no say in which has come about through such terrible circumstances.
Peace and love to all, Cyber hugs threeps and stay safe everyone.
Off to walk the Dogs now and then have a bit if a strum.

30th March 2020 at 3:09 pm #92453Another favourite tweet of mine (somebody called GooseLoose69… I wonder??) went “Day 10 of Lockdown: No social contact for 5 months now, no idea what everybody else is whining about!”

30th March 2020 at 3:16 pm #92454I think TV and its grossly over paid pundits need to take pain like all others Steel workers, car industry, textiles transport shops etc etc and stop bleating
We can actually live without them When it comes to real life issues like we are experiencing there ONLY concern, as with the Football hierarchy is how much money they are losing and quick we can get it back They appear to me as if they are the only ones with an important problem, football at the current level of dependance on TV support is no longer important and people will remember this years after it is over. I know some live and die by it but I suggest the outcome will changed. This is another reason why the longer that failed responsibility and decision making will change the game and from this point, it will be a case of patchwork rules, change of status of every competition, which may not be a bad thing in some circumstances, but my hope is for a complete change of management of the game. This will not happen but I do see TV and sponsors shaping the game more. This is a golden opportunity for them. Just my opinion_____________________________

30th March 2020 at 3:24 pm #92458As a PS, years ago, when the BBC served ALL the people better than it does now football was on TV free. As much as I like football I think it is now a bore having so many matches on and many poor entertainment. I turn sound down when pundits appear.
