Hey Buffy, the only silver cloud, if you want to call it that, is that my company (or maybe it’s Finnish Law, who knows…) have a kind last one in, first one out policy, so combined with the matter of me being there for 9 years and a combination of them taking on quite a few people of the last 18 months I’m not towards the bottom of the list… which doesn’t mean I’m near the top either… all depends on how long this thing goes on… the longer it is, the more worrying it will get… and yes, I’m fully aware there a more than a few other people saling up this creek!

Agree with that threeps but starting the old season again next Winter or forcing a culmination to it behind closed doors which will undoubtedly skew results doesn’t do that.
I think Liverpool should be declared Champions and European places should be decided on current standings, no relegation the top in the Championship are promoted and you could even decide the 3rd spot on the last round of head to heads.
I don’t think that’s what will happen though because the Clubs are worried about losing their TV monies which could also easily be solved by awarding Sky and BT 36 more games next season foc.

Not disagreeing with the first part, but I just can’t see how the rest of it would work, way to many lawsuits will get flung about… never going to happen me thinks.

Finished 1&2 of the D&G Series, have the plotline for #3 almost sorted (got three chapters in and suddenly thought it was so formulaic as 1 & 2, so had to stop and have a big think!)
Almost done B&A too… but mainly sorting out plot lines for my new “The Undercover Chef Chronicles featuring Agent Spanker-Jones” which is looking like a 5 book series for the moment.

3ps-We have been discussing this matter on here,namely that the economy cannot wait forever and that a decision by the Governments worldwide has to be made.Sadly many more lives could/will be lost but economies cannot wait,and lets just hope & pray that it doesnt last much longer.

Folks, we know NOW that the season cannot end by April, June, likely July and August as well. We are making 1000s of beds ready for the coming hit so why , please tell me, do the football management think it will not happen and they can go on there own sweet way They just cannot bring themselves to make a decision, get it done, live with it and move on and hopefully we can get back to normal in 6 months, that is what they say now, I still think it will be 12 months , if we are lucky

Chucky, we’ve not won the title in 30 years. The 18 literally means nothing to me, as I didn’t really support the club when they won the last one. Everyone is looking out for themselves sure but it’s only bias that has people saying that the title should be voided. It’s not rational to be so invested in a competition and to flippantly want to wipe it clean when it’s essentially been won. Then that means you just don’t care about it ever.
As for the table freezing, we’ve talked about all the options sure but nobody here is pushing for the 3 bottom sides to just be relegated, in fact most agree that it should be a play off, or that there are no relegations and we just play with a larger top division next season.

If that happens, I’m walking away from PL football. Liverpool will get the title or I can’t respect this competition and I won’t want to win a title that can be taken away from you. Before you lads chime in with your usual “there are more important things right now”, I know this and I’ve not brought the topic up this time. I agree with this but once the virus is behind us, we’ll want football to kick off again but lads, if they just take an already won title from Liverpool, that’s it for me and I hope many other Liverpool fans too. If we were only 5 points ahead, you’d say ok… this really really sucks but we’re 25 ahead, it’s over. this team have achieved a run of form that’s never been seen before, they deserve it.

Mav I’ve been following the comments and it’s been very interesting. I agree that economies will soon become an issue and whilst no one wants to hear about people dying a plan needs to be put in place so that life can carry on.
I really dislike Trump he did say that an American recession will claim far more lives than the virus will and whilst he was probably being ignorant at the time he has a point.
