22nd February 2021 at 8:07 pm #175845Bit too late as far as this season goes: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/56151863
Hopefully by then, we’ll never have to return to Lockdown. Some degree of optimism at the very least from what I’ve just seen on Television this evening.

22nd February 2021 at 8:14 pm #175847Yeah Sean a lot of nerves eased as the most vulnerable get vaccinated, and cases going down every day
Thank god we were out of EU by the start of this year so we were able to gets the vaccines coming in as soon as they were authorised.
Real proof of concept right off the block for the decision to leave. We had the right to act swiftly and independently in the national interest when we needed it the most.

22nd February 2021 at 8:56 pm #175852Too true Lucky, donβt usually comment on politics but good old Europe were saying weβd still be best mates until they realised weβd got the drop on them with vaccines, then they showed their true colours….Pagan

23rd February 2021 at 8:37 am #175858Sean, I thought Boris’s roadmap was very sensible we shouldn’t rush into anything if things remain under control we can take the next steps. The vaccine is the Key.

7th March 2021 at 1:23 pm #176375Crazy scenes in Glasgow with Gerrard hanging out of the window at Ibrox encouraging it all be even worse when it’s finally done.
I get the impression that people are dropping their guards all over the Country now. Idiots!

14th March 2021 at 10:00 am #176561With everything going on, and a young woman sadly losing her life, I felt the protestations were wrong time wrong place and disrespectful.

Did the MET see this coming at the Vigil, I don’t know, but even in the society we now live in, surely there’s humanity and some form of civilization left?
We’re still more fundamentally coping with a Pandemic where all the ‘safeguarding’ went out of the window.

14th March 2021 at 11:55 am #176563Vaccine roll out going very slowly here. We be in lockdown till June at least
Good yo hear you got your jab nil mate. Iβm flying along
As I says months ago, Ireland would lag behind with all issues and mainly its supply
Astra Zeneca vaccine has now been paused in Ireland until they look into is it causing clots
So thatβs another delay

14th March 2021 at 12:49 pm #176564Thanks Sean. Yes, we’re very fortunate in these neck of the woods. One of the Centre’s in Leicester are getting through hundreds, daily.
Are you down to have yours done mate? Yeah, there’s generally been positive reports about Astra-Zeneca. It’s the one from Oxford. Not sure why Ireland are holding up you guys.

30th March 2021 at 6:54 pm #176942Some people out there ridiculously going overboard Nine. They’re behaving as though they’ve been ‘locked away’ for years.
This is overshadowing ones that I with my own eyes whilst driving past have seen sensibly mingle well and participating in outdoor sports and physical activity.
Others have been in small couples taking the dog for a walk and enjoying a little bit of a Picnic.
It seems to be this younger generation which I find in modern society hard to comprehend with given the technological world we live in and the accessibility we have to be able to keep in contact.
