Look at the effect on the “worlds richest club” of the virus (Utd of course).
Third quarter results to 31 March including one week of lockdown, LOSS of Β£22.8million cumulative profit Β£13m for 9months with April May and June to come. Debt up to Β£429m from Β£301m. Nearly half a billion pounds.If this is the pattern for other apparently less wealthy clubs you cant be spending Β£100m etc on players. Its no wonder they want to play even behind closed doors and under different rules they started with. Never mind the integrity of the competition, they cant afford the loss of income.

Sure, he can go and play with another club for a couple of years, but once the current global situation is dealt with, the world is somewhat back to normal, the club’s finances are in full flow, and the majority of Spuds 1.0 have left, then Spuds 2.0 can begin. He’s got unfinished business.

I really hope this situation reboots sport in general,football especially.Utd to go bankrupt and start from 3rd Division,start fresh,no debt,and no more buying 2 of the most overrated players in the game:Β£89m for the Instabitch,and Β£80m for the Slaphead from Yorkshire,what a colossal waste of Β£169m!
No more waste of space & time for bunch of crap players like Shaw,Jlingz,Jones,Bailly,Mata,Matic,Smalling,Sanchez,etc,earning millions every month.A complete reset & reboot of the entire game._____________________________
