Under all the Life’s circumstances we’ve all had to endure, on the flip side as far as out love of Football and Other Sports go,

The Rocket, Ronnie O’Sullivan has Won The World Snooker Championship Tonight which lands him his 6th World Title, joint to Legends Ray Reardon and Steve Davis, and only now behind another Legend of the game in Stephen Hendry.

Fantastic in a Crowd of Audience/Fans/People Allowed through the Doors to Spectate ;all Systematically placed and positioned, it’s been a JOY 🙂

The ‘Cue Action’ when needed at most came to the Fore for Ronnie.

Kyren Wilson his Opponent has and is Top Dollar as a Professional and a Human Being. He Definitely has a Title in him and I’m sure with more coaching and playing experience, he will come good.

Who would have thought above all in this Pandemic, we’d be in this position?

Great achievement. I have been watching a bit of the snooker on pay TV here in Oz the last year or so and there are some very good snooker players out there. I like Ronnie however am also impressed by Judd Trump and also to a lesser extent our own Neil Robertson amongst others.

Congrats Ronnie. The final was a bit of an anti-climax after 2 extraordinary semi-finals. Thought Snooker got it spot-on in terms of dealing with the lack of a crowd. It’s obviously less of an issue compared to most events/sports as they have to keep quiet most of the time anyway but they fed crowd noise into the arena at the right moments to give the players a sense of atmosphere. Good to see crowds back for the final though

Yeah Ed, I was absolutely delighted the authorities allowed a crowd and it just erupted the arena. It just goes to show how much was lost and missed. It seemed have worked well and people generally were orderly and well behaved.

Robertson generally is a good player C67. There are quite a few good ones on the circuit and sometimes, it’s who you land as your opponent during the tournament.

Ronnie to be fair to him has a bit of a nemesis with Mark Selby because of his playing style, but found a way to edge past him. I think Kyren just needs to work more on his technical side of the game and trust a little more in his ability, otherwise he is capable of winning ranking events.

Another sport that thrives in the UK and Europe generally is darts. Love watching it on TV over here however could not imagine it without the supporters there getting pissed and making a stack of noise.
