Whilst it may be a two horse race it may be somewhere that Frank can learn the man management, psychological, and motivational side of the job away from the toxic pressure of the Premier league and Championship…..Pagan

25th February 2021 at 4:35 pm #176052It’s pretty toxic in Glasgow too Pagan and a bit of a fish bowl as well.
Let’s wait and see if Celtic approach Frank and if they do what he thinks about it. All speculation currently.
Frank would have probably been better served staying at Derby and giving it a few seasons but I understand why he couldn’t turn down the Chelsea job shame it didn’t work out.

25th February 2021 at 4:48 pm #176053Well it’s a fishbowl in Glasgow, doesn’t really get the scrutiny in the English press, however it’s probably just enough pressure to learn under.
It’s a shame it didn’t work out at Chelsea, and he was poorly equipped experience wise for the job, and quite possibly without the transfer ban wouldn’t have been in the running. Logically, you’d think starting in the lower leagues and working your way up gaining experience as you go would be the path to take, however the top players seem to think that playing under a top manager means you’ll be a good manager, unfortunately that’s not the case as you only see how you get managed, most managers manage each person as an individual as different players respond to different techniques, and those other techniques are what they need to learn…..Pagan

25th February 2021 at 4:54 pm #176054Think you’re right Pagan had it not been for the transfer ban I doubt Frank would have been appointed. Wherever he goes I hope it works out.

25th February 2021 at 5:00 pm #176055It may not be the career path he wants, but I think he’d make a very good pundit, he’s quite a media friendly sort of person…..Pagan

25th February 2021 at 5:22 pm #176056That’s true but as you suggest he wants to be a Manager given what we all know about him he won’t give up on that yet.

5th March 2021 at 8:19 pm #176338Pep’s openness has been refreshing. He’s not at all hidden himself from the point of having the Luxury to spend.
