Nine, klopp has turned good players into world class players. Defenders and attackers. Robertson, mane, salah, vvd, taa, firmino. Let’s not under estimate the role klopp has done to make players better. He’s got literally everything right in the last few years and the key thing, the main thing of all this is, he was given time and he got his signings right.

So nine you think vvd improving is nothing to do with klopp? Playing alongside Lovren at the start improved him?

He has bought players from relegated teams and improved them ten fold. Hull, Newcastle, Southampton, hoffeniem etc

I remember the calls alright from
Some fans about a defensive coach. These were the same people who were saying the same about Rodgers

I can only speak for myself. I’m very patient with managers. I could see what klopp was trying to do from day one. Many in here doubted him. I did myself at times as I just thought he was unlucky.

He’s used the money very well. He’s a much better manager then I originally thought. We can play numerous ways. We can play on the break or we can keep the ball all day long.
Vvd and Alison = couthino sale so ye big moneybbut money we generated through sales.

No player at this club is bigger then klopp. He’s done a phenomenal job. He will go down in Liverpool folklore. He’s changed this club is so many ways and I dread the day he walks out

He’s changed so so much. Anfield on any night now is rocking.

Ye he’s signed players fir big money but these were all done through the sales of others. He didn’t have a blank cheque book.

So happy he brought us the pl. love the man

Sean, J wouldn’t disagree with any of that mate but I still think VVD would have come on equally as well at City under Pep had he signed for them as he did at Liverpool because the quality was there which was obvious at Southampton.

The quality that was in VVD was the quality Klopp couldn’t bring out of Lovren same with Karius who was a Klopp signing. The quality was already there in Alisson too which is why Liverpool spent circa £150m on them both.

If it was all about the Coaching why couldn’t Klopp achieve the same results with Karius and Lovren and it took Klopp two years to sort out the Liverpool defence that’s not a criticism mate it’s a fact and things only changed on the signing of VVD and Alisson.

Historically if you put players in a better team with better players they will always develop further it’s always been the same mate no matter the team.

But I never said it was all about coaching nine. I said it Like you did mate. It’s good coaching and good signings. I’ve never argued Alison and vvd didn’t push us on . The system was already in place.

Not sure about pep as stones was probarly more highly rated then vvd and lion at him now. He’s a shadow of the player he was at Everton. Good Players don’t always develop further as you say. Far to many to menrtin that have failed over the years. Good players who have gone to great teams and gone backwards.

Lovren actually improved under klopp nine. Our mom in the 2018 cl but I wouldn’t say he was grwat to play alongside but he did improve under klopp.

Ye questions about the defence but we finished in the top 4 in his first two full seasons and reached 3 finals. We had qualified for the cl once in 8 years. We were making progress every year. We were very close to winning a few cups in his first few years.

In anyway not sure how we got to this point ?.
