As for Hazard, why is it teams always think it’s worth playing a star player if not fully fit or up to speed? I’ve never seen it work. If a player is not fully up to speed, regardless if they’re a star player, they never do very much. Surely better to have played someone sharper?

Very well deserved by Chelsea, besides those 2 saves of Mendy Madrid never really looked like scoring. Still think we missing someone upfront that can convert those easy chances. Anyway tough games coming up besides the 2 finals.

These two legs really do show how far these lads have come under Tommy T. We are as good as chance as City of winning this big ears trophy for the second time now. They may still be favourites but there won’t be much in the prices. Should have been 5 or 6 and Real Madrid were not even a major threat but that would be down to the quality of our guys. The next big test is City on the weekend.

Regarding the above photo, Hazard has life long mates at Chelsea and entitled to be cheerful around them. Not his fault they lost. Real Madrid should change their name to Real Poor. They are an aging side that needs half a dozen new galacticos to get back to where they need to be.

To be honest, that’s the kind of thing that puts me off elite footy.
You’ve just lost in a cup semifinal and you’re laughing and joking on the pitch with team mates and the opposition, it just shows you don’t care and have zero respect for the fans.
Still, win or lose, underperform, you’re on £250k + a week, you’ll drive home in your luxury super car, to your multimillion £ house to be greeted by your trophy wife, why would you care about the fans who pay their hard earned cash to give you that lifestyle……Pagan

There’s been talk about this being at Wembley as it’s 2 English Clubs which would enable the possibility of fans being able to attend rather than having to fly and essentially be accommodated. Can’t see Uefa agreeing, but not a bad idea.

Hazard has 3 goals in 27 appearances since signing for Madrid in 2019 for a reported fee of €100 million on a deal worth £400k/week (via Wikipedia). And haven’t Madrid also been paying half of Bale’s wages this season? I can’t think why these clubs have big debts?
