The handball was a touch unfortunate and it changed the game, up to then Roma were having problems stringing two passes together.

Fabulous player Ed so influential tonight as was Pogba and Fernandes United into the Final no doubt how much would be Cavani be worth it he was 10 years younger.

Been following the game through the BBC Scoreboard and I have to say I’m Impressed with United. Roma’s away goals don’t really stand as tall. Fernandes and Cavani once again. Very well done looking at it from a Neutral’s perspective.

As bad as Arsenal are, I’m actually very much hoping they don’t make it to the final as they’ve been a bit of a bogey team for us this season, for some reason.
Surely now with Arteta, top clubs will stop thinking it’s ever a good idea to bring in someone so inexperienced simply because they’ve worked under a good manager. “But, Pep?” is the obvious answer to that but he’s very much the exception and only got the Barca job because he did such a great job with the second string. Arsenal are far too big a club to give a manager their first job in management and it’s taken them back years.

Arteta just looks like what he is – a no.2 who usually advises being thrown into a no.1 position where he has to lead and create an identity. It’s as though he still hasn’t decided how he wants to play it and overthinks things as a result and ends up being cautious. Indeed, was that perhaps more of a hindrance to Pep at City? Is it a coincidence that Pep looks like he’s going to be in his first CL final at City without Arteta?
