The way I see it, we’ll have Sir Harry & Devious Dele back for the 2nd leg with a bit of luck, that combined with no games for a week and a half after tonight, I can see Spuds keeping it tight at the back and playing both Son/Moura up top to hit them on the counter, tell to run like bandits!
I think the key is if Rose is playing or not. He’s getting close to being back to his best after a year or two of injury/form issues. If he isn’t fit, then it’s Van the Man at LB and probably a back 4, if he is fit, then a back 3 with Rose/Weirdy Beardy playing wing-backs…I would fancy our chances if we line up like this:
GK- Obvious
CB’S – Van The Man, Nice Sanchez, Toby w. Rose/Beardy playing WB’S
Mid – Dinksy Winksy, Wee Erik, Disco
Att – Son & MouraBut I think Poncho will go with Fernando instead of Moura to be honest…

Yes, I agree Sean. PSG stepped up in the second half and we couldn’t match that.
Didn’t help that we had to change both wingers, or that they should have been down to ten or that they played the ref. No excuses, they were the better side, but I agree we were well in it at half time.
Just shows how much work is required.

I dont think Utd were as bad as you make out. Ashley Young at fullback is, I think, a liability. Also midfield still lacks, dare I say it, a Silva or Bernardo. KDB is similar to Pogba.

I disagree about young Adlab, I think he’s turned into a decent full back. I can’t stand the bloke lol but he shows a bit of passion all the time and gets stuck in

Anyway, I reckon 0-0 isn’t that unfair, perhaps BD feeling a little disappointed not to have the lead as they had possibly the better chances… BD seem better organized defensively, Van The Man isn’t really doing much in an attacking sense, can see a Foyth going off, Rose coming on, and Van moving over happening at some stage…
