Actually picked up the opening goal on my drive back from work. Trying to settle in. Atmosphere has fell flat since the furore, naturally, but Barca still look very lethal on the counter.

Huge credit to Allison for making countless saves so far tonight. He’s kept us in it.

We could to with a similar start in the second half. Even anything late on would set up a grandstand finish providing of course we keep the shutters shut from our side.

What is going on with the ref? He’s been so quick to book us but he waved off that very dodgy obstruction? It was 100% a yellow card but to him? Nope, not even a foul.

I will say that we’re missing Salah and Firmino big time. Credit to Hendo and Origi for the goal but Shaqiri is terrible tonight. I think we’ve got to take him off. stick on brewster and put Origi out wide. Its not perfect but ..

this is my issue with not starting with brewster,. the closer we are to this being real, the more pressure there is on someone coming to the game for the first time.

I dont trust sturridge unless sits a last throw of the dice.
