12th December 2019 at 9:59 am #56506Group winners Manchester City will have to play Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon, Napoli or Real Madrid.
Champions League holders Liverpool will face Atalanta, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon or Real Madrid.
Last season’s runners-up Tottenham are up against Barcelona, Juventus, RB Leipzig, Paris St-Germain or Valencia.
As for fellow group runners-up Chelsea, it will be Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, RB Leipzig or Paris St-Germain.

12th December 2019 at 11:01 am #56507There are no easy draws but if the Club’s could select their own draws I suspect this wouldn’t be far from their ideal draws:
City v Lyon
Liverpool v Atlanta
Spurs v Leipzig
Chelsea also v Leipzig
It doubt any of that will happen and I suspect there will be some real humdingers.
We’ll know for sure on Monday night.

12th December 2019 at 11:37 am #56510Love it when the Champions League enters the knockout stages. Last season, despite a brilliantly mundane final, was exceptional. So many memorable games like Utd/PSG, Liverpool/Barca, Spurs/Ajax, Juve/Atletico and Spurs/City.
Potentially some great last 16 games this time. Any English team could get a very difficult game but for Spurs and Chelsea it looks like that is all they get, Leipzig and Valencia are not to be underestimated.

12th December 2019 at 9:24 pm #56573Greenwood is going to be a player. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the England Euro Finals squad.

12th December 2019 at 9:39 pm #56574He really is Nine. Just turned 18 and he’s easily our best goalscorer already. One of the most naturally two footed players you’ll see

13th December 2019 at 9:55 am #56592Stevo, everything appears at the front of the site nothing is hidden. It’s currently just a tagging mechanism where you put up whatever thread you want to put up under the most appropriate category title.

13th December 2019 at 4:07 pm #56615Nine…Foden is being managed….he still needs a little “beef” for the tougher opponents but he is rapidly getting there and still learning. Next season will be his year but I see him making a good contribution in the New Year. From an English perspective..he is as good, now, as anyone out there but next year he will be in the Silva class
