Yeah, Sean I don’t know why Gerrard had cropped up in conversation albeit something spoken about stripped titles when all the City stuff broke out last week. Pep’s prickly sometimes and he can have an outburst.
He stepped up in coming forward and apologizing to Steven Gerrard which of course is a good foot forward.

Yeah nine I am going to watch the city arsenal game on my phone as it on prime and have chelsea on TV, its a shame though because ideally I could fully enjoy the city arsenal game too.

Nil, I think its down to the compressed season due to world cup, can never remember a prem game on same night as a champs league game, or ar at least not one as massive as this

Lucky, yeah. I get the feeling a certain company has had a bit of a say in this knowing, they’ll be raking in subscribers.
Personally mate in admittance, I’m absolutely delighted as I don’t really follow the CL if my team’s not involved unless it’s really close to the final. It’s great to have this custom additional choice, but not from a point of view in the example of fans of Chelsea watching Chelsea. My only other thought was if BBC for example were to screen special highlights late on.

Nil, I think prime had rights to this game and originally it would have been shown at the same time as the other prime games but for some reason was postponed and rescheduled. I don’t think prime would have had much say when it was rescheduled it would have to fit within the fixture lists for both city and arsenal.

The match with PSV was originally scheduled for Thursday, September 15, but it was postponed due to concerns over the pressure placed on the Metropolitan Police as it prepared for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on September 19.
The North Londoners were informed they had to complete their Europa League group fixtures by Thursday, November 3 or they would risk forfeiting the three points from the fixture.
Given that week was the only slot the match could be played in, the Premier League agreed to the postponement of the Arsenal v City game.

During his playing days, Pep failed a drugs test and years later cleared his name by using a technicality.
They needed a sample of his original drugs test, due to the company not having the sample because they dispose them after 2 years, Pep saw this loophole and all but cleared his name. Just as corrupt as his employers.

Reports suggest that City’s “comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.” is that the rules didn’t apply back then. They claim these are new rules and shouldn’t be backdated. Comprehensive and irrefutable! 🤣

Yep, they will fight this as hard as they can, as would anyone, but really surprised the best they can come up with after saying they had comprehensive and irrefutable evidence is that the rules didn’t apply back then.
They are not saying they didn’t break the rules, just that the rules didn’t apply.

Well it’s the time that these cases take to follow up, so original representations laid out first hand can get lost when revisiting and at the time of the news story breaking, the catalogue of ‘misdemeanors’ were heavy. Some were saying about stripping titles from previous winnings etc.
