I couldn’t help myself, sorry. I mean this literally happened 1-2 days after that statement lit a fire here about Liverpool supporters. I didn’t believe in God until now but I now know he exists and is tempting me π
In one sense we can consider this perfect closure actually, as it displays that every club can have scumbags ruining everything for the others.

8th April 2018 at 5:03 pm #19779It is like having a giant open goal in front of you and the ball at your feet – resist the temptation Mak, use the force!
Ps. God doesnβt exist, but Jediβs might.

8th April 2018 at 8:10 pm #19790I thought I’d let ‘the dust settle’ and disappointment wane (to some degree) before plucking up the courage to watch a recording of the match. Much as I’d thought yesterday, three things were evident:
1. We defended terribly for all their three goals.
2. Our finishing was pathetic – Raheem the main culprit – Aguero/Jesus would have buried those chances and 4/5 up at HT, match over.
3. United’s finishing was deadly. However, yesterday is now gone so need to look forward to Tuesday – can’t say I’m at all hopeful but you never know. If we are, as expected, going out, let’s hope it’s a good game, perhaps 5-2/5-3. And even after last week, I’d still want Liverpool to go on and win the cup.

9th April 2018 at 10:32 am #19808It could be that we’ve seen 4 losses on the trot by the end of this Saturday before we move on (surely) to get the points needed to win the league. This may be a bit anticlimactic after the United game, possibly made worse if Liverpool finish the job on Tuesday but City has been way ahead of any side in the EPL over this season. Looking ahead, will this current wayward patch have a material effect effect on game management/player recruitment (more emphasis on ‘control’ with more 1 or 2 goal winning margins rather than 4 or 5 goal games) or will Pep carry on regardless, intensifying that which we’ve seen this season and shaping the team to suit? I suspect more of the same approach with even better players but you may have your doubts….

9th April 2018 at 10:40 am #19810Game of the season for me, some real drama, great comeback, a few kerfuffles (admit it, who doesn’t like those in a game?), some decent goals, some pantomime villains…
Now, been cyber surfing, I’m sensing this Herrara spit the dog gate thing could get interesting… cyber rumors, and I do say RUMORS, are indicating Herrara made a “This is for the slaves” comment along with his donation to the crest…
With a billion camera’s around, somebody must have this somewhere you would think (if true off course!).

9th April 2018 at 4:06 pm #19821I had an email through from Jim today, apologising for his language on Saturday and he wanted me to pass on his apologies to Beni and the rest of the posters for his reaction. He says he’ll probably stay away until next season but, I’m sure I speak for everyone here, I hope to see him back much sooner than that!

Not sure so much would be made had Aguero not acted up though. Fernandinhoβs actions 30 seconds after are being ignored, and that was just as bad, if not worse. At least Young got the ball. Followed through, but so must a large proportion of sliding tackles.

9th April 2018 at 5:06 pm #19830AnonymousI dunno, I think it’s completely unacceptable that someone could use such strong or inflammatory language and dare to show their faces around here the next day.
THE CHEEK. I for one refuse Big Jim’s apology and will.. ok if you haven’t realised that I’m not entirely serious by now, I dunno what to tell you.

9th April 2018 at 5:15 pm #19831Alfie. Dont defend Young. He has always been a diver and a cheat. The game has finished.
If you cant see that as a penalty and red card thats fine.WE are going to win the league and not the debt ridden Utd.
Coming second in any competition is coming nowhere. That includes us at any time.
JIM COME BACK OTHERWISE THIS IS FULL OF REDS AND THATS NO GOOD FOR A CITY PAGE.
Cant respond on my own._____________________________
