7th April 2018 at 8:47 pm #19694Adlab if you truly have atrial fibrillation be very careful. I’m sure you know that atrial fibrillation is a risk factor for stroke.

7th April 2018 at 8:54 pm #19695Well, in hope, my ideal is to go as far as possible with the Champions League. I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
As far as next Weekend goes, there will be a different tune sung.
I look at the bigger picture and thank goodness since Ferguson’s retirement almost 5 years ago, they’ve not gone on to win any further League Championships. A little bit of their slump reminded me of Liverpool post Kenny’s resignation and Souness’s hands on Management, but we’re in a different world where there’s investment.
Wouldn’t it be nice in an ideal world if there was a one slice of the cake to go around ALL teams?
Hahahah π

The usual cocktail!
Doc says watch the stress. Well none of us live forever. Ray Wilkins, Eric Bristow this week.Team selection and Atkinson are responsible if I dont make tomorrow!

7th April 2018 at 9:03 pm #19699Ref bashing aside, City have no one but themselves to blame for this defeat. Sterling should be the one who should have been blamed and not the ref. it was a penalty yes, but the ref didn’t give. simple as that whether it was incompetence or a miss is another matter. City had dominated the game for 45 minutes in which they could have scored 4-5 goals. they didn’t make their dominance count. United only took their chances, you will say City was the better team and the better team never wins always. but i have to commend United for coming back from 2 goals down. and it was at Etihad, so give credit where its due. i had been an admirer of City’s style of play. but United made an effort today. although they only turned up for the second half.

7th April 2018 at 9:11 pm #19700Maybe not the best weather for celebrations anyway – but strange game, to say the least – City will play worse than this and still win handsomely – of concern was the profligacy in front of goal (City should have been 5-0 at HT and the game won); this may be compared to Utd, who were clinical – of equal concern were the lapses in defence which handed the opportunities to Pogba et al in the first place. As for the penalty, it is impossible to claim it wasn’t – but there again, we’re talking about Martin Atkinson – as soon as I saw that he was officiating, a sense of ensuing dread and impending controversy followed – and, needless to say, he didn’t disappoint – this unfathomable decision is just another in a litany of controversial decisions against City – maybe, when he retires, he’ll admit to being a closet Rag all along.
All this, of course, is a moot point – the title will be won but we’ll have to wait – this being City, did anybody really think it was going to be done and dusted with six games to go?_____________________________

7th April 2018 at 9:18 pm #19702Wigan beat City – they were horrible dirty graceless bastards and didnβt deserve to win. Horrible horrible people.
Liverpool beat city (1st time) Liverpool weβre lucky as the game was too short and if it had been 5 mins longer then city was the only winner.
Liverpool beat city (2nd time) because the coach was damaged and the city players were upset, so it should be replayed. Liverpool fans are horrible thugs.
United beat City – it was the refs fault and he was bought off.
See a theme?

7th April 2018 at 9:37 pm #19707On the point of Referees, in a game of this magnitude, I really am disappointed. We just have any up and coming or proper experienced persons out there.
I’ve seen this in live games at Leicester and the Home team if anything is cheated and hard-done-by.
The FA are Weak to me from afar because I don’t see any encouragement and they really are a shambles.

7th April 2018 at 9:38 pm #19708Adlab, take care mate and stay safe.
Jim, appreciate you’re gutted about the game but please watch the language. You’re better than that. Beni’s obviously trying to wind you guys up but it comes with the territory of being a top side. You’re there to be shot at when things don’t go your way

7th April 2018 at 9:41 pm #19710Iβm not winding up Ed. Just playing back the City lads comments after each of their very few defeats so far this season. Good job they donβt have the usual limitations of most clubs to add to their frustrations.

If i was you i would have taken this as a compliment. who would have thought United beating City would have been a big story a decade ago? this again shows how far you guys have come from. that the whole Premier league wanted you to lose? well i can’t say all but most. roles has been reversed really. and kudos to City you have an opportunity to lay a marker and dominate if you keep the manager, like United dominated the league until Ferguson have retired.
