De Gea’s save from Aguero late on was just unreal. I refuse to believe there is a better keeper in world football at the moment. It’s the one position where we probably have the best around

7th April 2018 at 8:07 pm #19675Don’t you just love the British society of football supporters!
I get United fans being jubilant, but for those shed loads coming on air throwing pelters at Pep is ridiculous and not surprising.
People go too far in the adulation. So when the pendulum does swing in adversity, the people just throw you under the bus.
That’s not on and not the type of society I welcome.
This result apart from putting me a few quid down in bets hasn’t changed my overall opinion of Manchester City at all and as far as the tie goes, they can still turn it around.
Credit to United by all means in turning that scoreline around, and there must have been one serious ‘hairdryer’ by Jose. It was beyond pride, it was stature and 20 league championships.
Celebrate the win, why not, but don’t be coming on the air thinking you’re back on the Mantlepiece some of you United fans, because the dynamics have genuinely changed in reality!

7th April 2018 at 8:08 pm #19676Jim, something a tad stronger maybe, but don’t be too hard on yourself.
Next weekend, you’ll be celebrating being League Champions – here’s hoping.

7th April 2018 at 8:17 pm #19680Ed-Spot on m8,this win means absolutely nothing to United, and City are more than able to turn it around in the CL.

7th April 2018 at 8:18 pm #19681No proper centre forward jim and Adlab. Jesus would have buried those. It was still a very strong city team but understand your grievances

7th April 2018 at 8:23 pm #19682Sean. Pep totally fucked up imo. Sterling has scored plenty of goals this season but he needs twice as many chances to score as either Jesus or Aguero. KDB should have started also. By the time Pep realised his mistake it was too late. What terrible week. Two really important games and we didnt play our best side in either. Bizarre.

7th April 2018 at 8:25 pm #19683Should have been well over at ht but credit to United on the comeback. That foul on Aguero tho was one of the most blatant penalties I’ve ever seen,
Be interesting to see how that result affects City re Tues night it could go either way.
The City lads will be down but City have had a great season and will win the title and probably set new records in doing it too!

7th April 2018 at 8:26 pm #19684Mav, very true, my kind friend.
It just feels like some of them are going purely by the tide!
Must the the natural reaction straight after the game hahaha
I hope for a more measured ‘review’ 🙂

7th April 2018 at 8:31 pm #19685Here is your measured review.
We put out a weaker team for no reason.
We missed hatful
Atkinson was awful. We should have had two clear penalties.
We cannot pull back 3 goals v Liverpool. This was more important
We lost.A very bad week in a great season.
We will probably lose the next two_____________________________

7th April 2018 at 8:32 pm #19686Nine I truly think Atkinson was bought today. He gave us absolutely nothing. One of the worst displays since those other bent barstards Taylor and Madley fucked us over last. I wish him nothing but misfortune and pain. Pissed off with football.

7th April 2018 at 8:35 pm #19687If we’re talking about fouls, how Ashley Young got away with that on Sterling, I will never know – cue VAR!
Reminded me of a former Chelsea player by the name of Boswinga!

Jim I agree. Pep made the wrong decision. Said so to mates, who didnt agree, BEFORE kick off. Looked an idiot at HT but……._____________________________

7th April 2018 at 8:37 pm #19690Atkinson? You mean 8 minutes Atkinson. I will never forget that. Today? Disgusting. Where are those Liverpool fans (thugs) when you need them.
