Don’t do corrie Mav. Seriously not had a drink since last sat. Just had three large glasses of wine. And three bottles of Becks. While waiting for Chinese and i fell as if im half shot lol. Started as soon as home 2 hours ago.
Anyway ive decided if we lose to you lot tomorrow I’m done with bloody football. It will cost me another box of Peroni after a bet today with the United fan at work. Fair plays to him he took it on. Looks like i am already going to lose a box to Matt the Scouser. Already gave him a box after the Anfield win in Jan. We have 2 Liverpool fans at work and one United fan and a stoke fan. Spot on Ed regarding the agent. Talk about footballers being led astray By money grabbers. Why don’t you believe Pep when he says City couldn’t afford Pogba. We couldn’t afford Sanchez and backed out for the same reason. We’ve spent a fortune perhaps the budget for this season has been spent?

Jim, I’ve not seen any indication that City couldn’t afford Sanchez. The fact that the Laporte fee & wages combined with the failed Mahrez bid + wages would have been easily enough to pay the Sanchez money suggests they wouldn’t have had a problem affording him. There’s a huge difference to not being able to afford someone and just not wanting to pay the price. I honestly believe City and PSG could buy any player they wanted.
