Ah I think very poor is very harsh. Missed 3 games for being an idiot. Totally agree to many missed chances but nine goals in about 17/18 starts is very good and he will be judged on goals.

Paul, vvd was excellent last season. We played every possible game. I’ve no idea what the problem is. We look sluggish. Injuries which every team has had etc. I really fear for us this season. We have no one who can play in the left of the front 3. Some players bang out of Form aswell .

The midfield is the biggest issue at Liverpool. No depth, and the regulars are injury prone and getting older or declining. I still can’t work out why, after clearing being interested in Tchouameni, the club didn’t identity an alternative and then panicked at the last minute by brining in Melo, another injury prone midfielder. That’s not how a top club should be operating.

In principle I do see the point of time, but the vast amount of money paid you’d perceive as a finished article and somebody who will run deep, make life difficult for opposition defenders and of course hammer in goals.

What I have seen so far is a ‘B’ grade player and somebody seemingly who doesn’t look like he’s enjoying himself. Is he also in majority a team-player?

Yeah merry Christmas everyone! I do agree with you Mikus re Nunez. It’s far too early to write him off and his goals record is not bad, let’s be honest. He just looks so poor at times when I’ve seen him. Poor first touch, misses easy chances, makes strange decisions. The fee may well be weighing heavily on him.

This is it Ed, all valid points unfortunately. I’ve seen this so many times through out the years of following Liverpool with players; although the significant difference here is that this really is a Big Money signing that hasn’t delivered.

We have had B grades in the past because we couldn’t compete in the transfer market and we had example like Milan Baros. We were blessed though with Fernando Torres who was a Star and Luis Suarez. They turned out to be Top Dollar.

Unfortunately as we are, my position is that we sell Nunez. Maybe I’m proved wrong and I hope so.

That’s it though Ed, he can also look unplayable at times. Salahs goal. Pace, good touch and simple ball for the goal. I think when he has to much time to think he’s at his worst. No way competing him to Henry but he looked nearly the sane in his first few mo the with arsenal

I never thought Henry would turn into the player he did when I saw him for France 98, juve then when first arsenal

Liverpool are screwed. We are all over the shop and I can’t see us turning this around. We need either jota or diszfit ad we have no one to play on the left
