Circa 8,000 Bristol City fans going to the Etihad tonight biggest away support ever at the Etihad allegedly hopefully even if Bristol City get beaten tonight they are still in the tie for the return leg at Ashton Gate.
A friend of mines son plays for the local Under 10 team here and Bristol City invited his club team to go out with the players tonight and his son has been chosen to be one of the eleven that walk out with the players and they are both on their way up by Coach now.
A never to be forgotten experience for young Jake.

9th January 2018 at 6:44 pm #11875ppt, brilliant by City and I’m looking forward to hearing from my friend tomorrow all about how it went for his son and all his team mates.
I’m sure it will be something he/they never forget coming out with the players through that amazing tunnel on to the pitch with that amazing atmosphere. Cheers 999

9th January 2018 at 6:59 pm #11879Is Otamendi injured? Not alot of pace in midfield holding role with Yaya and Gundog in there. Presumably Raheem the goal machine is upfront.

9th January 2018 at 7:29 pm #11884Is it actually fully sold out Jim or just in the area you want to be in?

9th January 2018 at 7:43 pm #11886Sold out everywhere Beni. What annoys me tho is that some people who are on the cup scheme would have bought their tickets automatically but won’t bother turning up. I often leave it late and miss my window to buy my seats and have to get seats in other parts of the ground which i dont mind as we sit low down in tier 1 north normally so i choose to sit in tier 2 on the sides for a better view but not this time.

9th January 2018 at 8:38 pm #11890FFS, Mangala and Stones!! Definitely a pen but that was the only decision The Altrincham fan (from a family of reds lol) Taylor got right on the first half. He always screws us over. As suspected Yaya is getting overun in midfield. No one upfront can pick a final pass or take a shot. Pep needs to kick some arses.
As regards attendance I can’t believe that many people were on the cup scheme and can’t be arsed to turn up. I do know the website said it was sold out last week. Sure it’s a struggle transport wise to get to a midweek game especially if you live miles away. But that is poor._____________________________

9th January 2018 at 8:41 pm #11891Wow! Brilliant performance from Bristol City but Aguero will probably come on and score a hat trick very difficult to cope with the constant pressure from Man City.

9th January 2018 at 9:44 pm #11905Really heroic performance by Bristol City it was important to get the tie back to the Gate still in it and they did that.
I thought the near 8,000 Bristol City fans were magnificent.
But well done to Man City they come and come and come again.Be a great night on the 23rd.

9th January 2018 at 9:50 pm #11908Agree nine, they were good, and played good football more attacking than many sides have at the Etihad this season.

9th January 2018 at 11:05 pm #11909Jim did you try phoning the club? I usually find that the website is not necessarily accurate.

9th January 2018 at 11:28 pm #11910No I didn’t Ian. Clearly it wasnt accurate lol. Normally we buy online and pick our seats for cup games if I can’t get our ST seats. But this was the first time I have had that problem. Attendance was 43k odd tonight. So 10000 short. Not great for a cup semi.
