26th August 2022 at 9:00 pm #198254Nine…good game with our U 21s to night. Some stars of the future on show. Cannot believe your keeper is under 21!!! He saved you to night or maybe City poor finishers
Some of the tackles were excellent from both teams._____________________________

27th August 2022 at 7:37 pm #1982983 points required and that is what we got….but we need to focus better at the back. We have not had a settled back line this season yet but they should be doing better than they are.Pleased Haaland put in a good performance, hopefully it will encourage him.Good to see Alvarez and Gomez on pitch as well

31st August 2022 at 9:41 pm #198431Master class performance to night. Great to see three youngsters brought on as well. Comments appearing on how Haaland would do against top CBs, well I think you could also say , how well would they do against him…it is not so much the 1 to 1 because it ishis movement, Kane also has this ability.I felt for Forrest to night though, it cannot be easy and then watching KDB and Mahrez come off the bench. I was also impressed with Alvarez again, great worker and scores

3rd September 2022 at 7:26 pm #198603Villa deserved there point for the defensive display. City could not find a way through and our finishing a bit off. Two points dropped however you look at it. I would have swopped either Gungdogan or Bernardo for Alvarez though, just not there type of game The mighty Spurs next I think Chuky

4th September 2022 at 10:24 am #198638Maybe so City boy but you have to give some credit to Villa.. Alvarez would have been more direct and I believe that was required for this game. Haaland is a big bonus up top but ww have to remember others can score as well…as been proved over the years!!

6th September 2022 at 10:04 pm #198756cannot keep Haarland out of the headlines, I suppose goals will dry up at some point, so , for now I will just enjoy them Grealisj did OK after long lay off but he will have to work up to a 90 minute game. Pleased for young Gomez and a good debut performance from the new lad

15th September 2022 at 3:15 pm #199068Still not up to our best but did enough to win…but I wish they would not leave it so late, not good for my BP. City can score from other positions though as well as Haaland, step up John Stones, Diaz last week, fancy Cancello next. New CB settling well and another good game from Ake. Another test awaits at Wolves on Saturday

17th September 2022 at 2:32 pm #199108Very little wrong with the performance to day, not KDB day for his passing class but other than that kept things moving. Spirited effort from Wolves in second half with 10 men and they may have found themselves a new CB. Stiffer competition to come from now and we need to get control of the game better which we have not done so far this season against a top half team but maybe the better the opponent will bring more out of us, we are still a margin off our best though but if we keep consistency level high I may review my forecast from third to second!!!!!

18th September 2022 at 11:54 am #199127Think I was being a bit over critical about KDB on looking at the match rather than listening where the tendency is to be influenced by the Commentator. KDB had a few misplaced passes but so did most of the others. I should be satisfied with overall performance and look before adding comment. My apologies KDB!!!

21st September 2022 at 3:40 pm #199161The talk is about Grealish wanting a new club!!!! This is the Yaya story all over again, agent speak and the player not doing enough to put out what he really really wants. That said, you do not hold City to ransom like this or you will be an all time looser. If he went to morrow we have at least two players who could fill his role, young Palmer and Alvarez and that is why he is not playing regular. He is a good player but not a great one. City of course whichever way you look at it will loose a lot of money but a lesson learned.Nobody gets everything right in transfers
This may also be media hype again and the he is perfectly happy and prepared to work hard and fit with City’s style of play. My personal view is I never saw him as a City player but would be happy to be proved wrong_____________________________

21st September 2022 at 5:19 pm #199162Brian,re Grealish “media hype again and the he is perfectly happy and prepared to work hard and fit with Cityβs style of play.” Seems closer to the truth to me?
I was very impressed with Grealish’s England interview today on SSN and he came across as very happy at City and glad to be there.
City paid over the odds for him for sure but that was because of the buy out clause in his contract and there was nothing City could do about that other than walk away. I thought Grealish had a good game v Wolves.

21st September 2022 at 7:24 pm #199163I do hope that is the case Nine but he does need to tell his agent he does not want a repeat of the “birthday cake” Yaya episode I am aware the Media will export and try and de-stabalise any opportunity that is before them. His future is entirely up to him, he is with a great club and players and Pep as a Manager, play well…no problem. but be aware…nobody is guaranteed anything at City

6th October 2022 at 2:40 pm #199542Well if the assets and money are in Dubai it also means Mr Putin has lost out and cannot get his hands on it, although one wonders where all his cash is???….you are never going to get perfection in anyone or anything in this modern world

11th October 2022 at 9:06 pm #199703A bit energy draining with 10 most of game but not complain about the Red card. A good result in the circumstances and happy we kept a clean sheet.

21st October 2022 at 8:33 pm #200195I fully expect tough game to morrow against Brighton. City need to bounce back and Brighton need to impress new manager, they are a useful side anyway.I would play Grealish for this game though, give Gungdagan or Bernado a rest for Wednesday

22nd October 2022 at 7:08 pm #200231Still not at our best but credit Brighton, we earned those points to day. Next week, Leicester are fighting as well so expect a similar game after the Dortmund game
