Oh, I forgot to mention, I had a follow up to the phone call I mentioned in earlier post. A letter arrived thanking me for my support over the years etc, etc…it was nicely worded and appreciated. I would have liked it to have been signed by The Chairman or Pep though….better still Augerro/Silva!!!!

4th June 2020 at 5:27 pm #113642Sorry City fans had to put this here. Apologies to anyone that has seen it, it’s not new, but I don’t think it was intended to be seen by match going proper City fans.
If you’ve not seen it enjoy, it’s totally cringetastic, but remember it’s just a bit of banter! I like to think Adlab is one of the old guys at the table that shout Hooray!

6th June 2020 at 6:41 pm #113782Brian, I think it was probably aimed at a Middle East audience which is probably why you didn’t see it.

12th June 2020 at 2:35 pm #114688Well now Brian, first game back, Wednesday is my lot vs your lot!
Any thoughts on how this might go?
Not really been keeping up with my lot, i guess its jst who turns up fittest and can play and up there game with no fans to play in front of
all injuries should be done by now tho and at least arteta may have had more time to get his ideas acrosslets be silly and go for an Arsenal win…2-1

12th June 2020 at 3:00 pm #114700Stevo, losing this week to Brentford at the Emirates with the usual defensive mistakes isn’t a good indicator but you never know I think there will be all sorts of strange results when the PL restarts.

12th June 2020 at 9:48 pm #114894Stevo, I honestly do not know, a bit of a lottery I think. I think Pep will use maximum players for this because he will have R Madrid in his sights and I still think he wants another Cup. However, this is such an unusual occasion for both teams I really do not know what to expect other than Pep goes out to win the match in front of him, that does not change

14th June 2020 at 5:31 pm #116300Just being watching the Yaya Toure tribute on City+. When asked to pick his team from players he has played with, in goal, was Joe Hart.. Great to see a re run of some of the games he played

18th June 2020 at 2:28 am #118887Nice win today Brian and probably spells the ongoing decline in the career of David Luiz at this level. An absolute shocker for both the first two goals and a red card.

18th June 2020 at 11:19 am #119238Chelsea 1967….well satisfied with team performance. Yes Luiz didmake mistakes, but City were controlling the game OK and you have to question about Arsenals lack of effort throughout the team, I do not think they play as a team or each other and that maybe the biggest problem.

19th June 2020 at 2:28 pm #120244“Leroy has rejected to extend his contract. Everyone knows. If at the end of the season two clubs agree, he can leave, if not he will leave at the end of his contract,β
βThe club offered two or three times and he rejected it.β Pep Guardiola
Shame not only for City but the PL too to lose a player of Sane’s ability.

19th June 2020 at 2:53 pm #120260I do not care who it is but if a player wants to leave for another club allow him to go. If he is still under contract then City need to get full value. I am sure they will get that from somebody. Sane , as good as he is, in patches, is replaceable. The reason he has not played so often is that he was injured…for a long time

19th June 2020 at 3:18 pm #120278Normally Brian Sane would be worth Β£70m plus but he’s only got a year left on his contract he’s just got over a near season long injury and the market is badly effected by Cov19.
City will either do an acceptable deal or Sane will play out the last year of his contract the latter looks unlikely though because when they decide they want to go even without the above circumstances they go.

19th June 2020 at 5:14 pm #120356Nine…of course a deal will be done but I suspect not on Bayerns terms, we will also cover our outlay on him including medical costs for 12 months

19th June 2020 at 6:45 pm #120422Can’t see City getting the alleged circa Β£70m they want again allegedly Bayern are prepared to pay Β£45m but time will tell.

22nd June 2020 at 10:12 pm #123177Happy with the team performance to night, hope they can do it until the end of the season now, big ask, but when you look at the subs bench to night, it is reasonable to think…why not?
