12th February 2020 at 10:34 am #68449Big ask Sean to continue motivating a team that have won 7 League titles on the trot but that’s the pressure Sarri is under and he knew that when he took the job.
Juve still in the title race , still in the CL and they play Milan away in the first leg of the Copa Italia Semi Final tomorrow night suggestions coming out of Italy and not helped by 2 defeats in 3 game the latest to Verona is that Sarri has to win a trophy to save himself but even that may not be enough there’s even talk of Juve bringing back Allegri?

12th February 2020 at 7:55 pm #68573Sean…have always thought Pep would see out his contract. At the end he will have a few choices, maybe go into International Management but then again, at City he has what he wants in terms of Management and funding will be available when required.Realisticaly, he will move and we will have a replacement ready by Christmas He may surprise us all and stay!!!!

12th February 2020 at 10:25 pm #68626Doubt Pep would want to leave City with the challenge of trying to win back supremacy from Liverpool next season. Are there reports from reputable people that he may be considering going?

13th February 2020 at 8:55 am #6882867, all speculation mate with Pep entering the last year of his contract but it won’t go away until he makes a decision on his future.

13th February 2020 at 11:56 am #68901You are right Nine…the media have found something to bite on to keep the story running until the end of next season. Then it will be somebody else’s turn..Klopp? Only the headlines count
Steven…..note “The guardian and der Spiegel” says it all

13th February 2020 at 12:10 pm #68906Brian, hardly The Sun or Don Balon to be fair, both have very good reputations.
The emails shown in the gallery at the bottom of the linked page do make interesting reading if real.

13th February 2020 at 2:59 pm #68977Latest revelations re City’s FFP alleged misdemeanors are all very interesting and perhaps explains why an outcome has been some time coming.
Some of the revelations seem very damming but how they were acquired seemingly may not have been totally within the law.
City will have the very best Lawyers working on their behalf who clearly think they have a case to make.
Very difficult to predict the final outcome.
If it was just black and white it would have all been done and dusted by now.

14th February 2020 at 4:08 pm #69505Sad news about Dave Watson. He’s been diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy, the same illness that Jeff Astle died from, and attributed to heading footballs.
Imo, he’s one of the best CBs City has ever had and I still vividly remember the goal he scored at Maine Road (North Stand end) versus Ipswich Town – he met a corner from the left, about 15 yards out and thundered a header into the top corner to win the game. I still don’t think I’ve seen a more powerful headed goal to this day._____________________________

18th February 2020 at 4:33 pm #71119The West ham match should be a cracking match to morrow, they need the points, we need the points and all the hullabaloo that is going on about City. Sadly, I am still on the injured list and will not be there put my ticket on City exchange list and was sold next day. I expect Mr Moyes will have a strong defensive plan but it is up to us to start putting the chances away again and stop giving the opposition a goals
