I am pleased we got through this game without more injuries and also very pleased Palmer and McAtee got game time….watch out for these two in the future. Rodri..MotM for me but close with cancel and Silva. I wonder if they put batteries in Silva before he goes on the pitch, the amount of ground he covers. Leipzig on Wednesday next then on to West Ham

Pep got t right again to night, great team performance. If we can get KDB and Foden back firing we should start to get more into our game again. Messi, Mbappe, Neymar???? Dias Rodrigo Walker and Stones kept them quiet

That was hard work but I think deserved The conditions played a part, so it is credit to all the players they did well. I could not understand why we had two goalkeepers on the bench, my only thought was to bring Steffen on and move Ederson to a striker position!!!!!! Will be pleased when KDB/Foden/Grealish back. Bernado/Gungdogan worked there socks off again

Is there currently an argument that the £100 mill signing of Grealish has actually worked better not so much for him but it has worked to elevate the form of Sterling & Bernado Silva in terms of adding competition? That’s not to say he won’t still come good, but that’s what appears to have happened so far.

Nine and Lucky…thank you for your concerns, yes, I have some health problems at the moment which the Doctors are trying to resolve. I have to rest for now with medication. I plan to get through this on the knowledge there are millions worse off than me and I should be so lucky at my old age.
Lucky..you are entitled to your opinion of me but I have to say I am not the condescending person you describe or have ever been or ever will be and I would never lecture anybody on stoicism but as I said, you are entitled to think whatever.
I do appreciate your concerns . For now, I will look in from time to time and see what you are all jabbering on at, I thought a recent post from Mak, just about summed up the Forum. One benefit from taking a back seat for a time is to look at the way we try and change the game without wanting change. Funny old world

Thank you for dropping in brian, I am so sorry to hear of you health concerns.

I’m also very sorry that you have interpreted my opinion of one of your posts as an opinion of you, not in the slightest Brian you are held in highest regards by myself and as far as I am aware everyone else on the forum.

You just have to accept I think city are better than Chelsea that’s all and I don’t feel sorry for myself because of it lol and p.s you are right, you don’t need a striker 😀

Brian, just wanted to let you know, that while I don’t care about upsetting a few of the other posters on here with direct and honest opinions it broke my heart tonight to think I could upset you so much just speaking my mind about one post.

Please know I am done with this site and you wont have to worry about that again.

I have no sympathy with others who may sod off for a while because of me when I’m giving as I am receiving but if I can put off sweethearts like you then the site is better off without me for sure.

Please come back because you will be missed.
