WBA to night and we can expect a tough game contrary to what some may see as a soft few matches….well WBA and Sheffield Utd are fighting for there lives it will not be soft. The only way I can see this not developing into another attack v defence game again is if City score early, we have not been doing that recently but one thing is certain Big Sam will have his team ready, a much criticised manager but he gets a job done and has never had the resources to do anything with the squads he has inherited. This maybe another draw and we need some grit on the pitch to night with the flair

I agree this will be much tougher than our glorious press like to make out. Knowing Sam it will be blanket defence, long balls and playing for set pieces.

Moos, well being a supporter you always want to win everything in site but realistically I would be happy just to win something. It was interesting to read Pep last week…he rated EPL higher than CL, I feel the same. I would rate FA Cop before CL as well!!!..With all the staements flying about re Super leagues, global leagues it is clear to me that something will happen. Fifa and Uefa are already talking about banning teams/player if they go into any other than there own competitions. I doubt the new sponsors will be over concerned about that.

Happy for the three points against Sheffield Utd but not so happy with the score at 1-0 and they change tactics to managing the game. The Blades could have and should have scored in closing 15 minutes. However, Edison had little to do so our new defence kept another clean sheet. We have no back up for Gundogan or Bernado and they are running themselves into the ground,I am sure Pep is aware of it, but as they say….the show must go on, same for other teams. Burnley next at Turf Moor….now that will be a tough one as well, no easy games now and Burnley are showing marked improvement

Not as fluent as could be but Liverpool did not make it easy, apart from defensive mistakes. I thought we would have been to lightweight up front, but if you can score 4 an Anfield nothing much wrong. Still a long way to go, not celebrating yet, this was another step in right direction. Pep was smart enough to change tactics in the second half.The only threat was Liverpools FBs and he catered for them, good tactical sense.

Jesus and Sterling just baffle me. I doubt anybody works as hard as they do for the team but they are not natural scorers. maybe we do not need one, since results would prove me wrong

Brian, I think youβll have another 4 or 5 years of Pep, I donβt think thereβs a better fit for Man City and I donβt think Pep really has anywhere else to go, unless he fancies a bit of time in Italy. Klopp on the other hand I think will be gone from these shores when his contract expires in 22, heβll be ideal for either Barca or Real who once they sort themselves out will require a good old rebuild which Klopp can do…..Pagan
