i do get what many on here are saying, but some emails (no matter how damning) cant be the only evidence, all i know is that all i know about this is from various sources, you dont know are real or agenda driven or accurate, unless someone gave me all evidence i cant really judge, not an informed one anyway

not giving city a let off tho to my eyes they havent done anything wrong except to challenge the established old boys in europe, no way they have been worse off than PSG orRM and Barca who have been state funded for decades

frankly the whoile argument stinks of Pygmailion!!!

Chucky, re your post @8:32am I already said in my post @8:14am “If the only evidence is the e mails then City have a problem and even if City’s Lawyers were to argue as is likely that the e mails are inadmissable and they manage to overturn the ruling based on that it would still leave a shadow hanging over City.”

Chucky, because imo it answered the question you posed.

You won’t “hear a theory on how City are even remotely innocent” because nobody knows the evidence that City will put forward to CAS.

If the e mails are ruled inadmissible and that’s all City have then it might get City off the ban but it would forever leave a shadow hanging over City.

We can speculate on a innocence “theory” though, that’s half the fun… but I can only come up with 2.

#1 The e-mails are fake

#2 The e-mails are genuine and it’s all a part of an elaborate and long-game April Fools joke by City to make UEFA/Footydebate look silly. 🙂

As for the shadow, they’ve already go that, that’s not going anywhere…

lot of short term memories and hatred if you ask me
so many other clubs have had so many bad things that cast a shadow and its all forgot about now for the most

i must be one of the very few who think this is all a load of shit persoanlly and IF EUFA win then thats it for football, no other club can ever get close to the established big boys and they themselves can spend what they want when they want how they want and getting the “money” from any source just like the always have

still gives the mother hens plenty to talk about and feel morally superior ;P

There is a world of difference between what we’re doing here and the weight of jury duty/judge or the likes Nine 😛 You might not think so but I’d take that kind of responsibility incredibly seriously, were it on my shoulders. It isn’t though, however. So I’m free to speculate. The same goes with being a fan and not having to be professional about our approach to games. We can say it’ll be a walk in the park etc but a player never could.
