Wow! Arsenal are a mess. Only six points from relegation halfway through the season. Aubameyang must be pissing himself with joy that he left Dortmund for that. Wenger back, anyone?
Looking at Arsenal makes it almost easy to be a fan of United.
Arteta has a massive job ahead of him. Best of luck!

29th December 2019 at 8:58 pm #57601Absolutely Great to sign off 2019 with a League Victory. It was hard fought and you notice that evidently from a very good fightback from Wolves and individuals in Lallana and Mane tracking back for defensive duties.
For me, it shows Professionalism and Respecting Opposition. 18-1-Lost 0 is the best ever in over 30 Years of supporting Liverpool Football Club. If anyone remembers Anfield 1989, and the slip re 2014, allowing Demba Ba, they’ll know not to take this one for granted.

30th December 2019 at 7:00 am #57610I thought Graeme Souness proposal to these very narrow VAR offside decision goals being disallowed because a minute part of the body being over the line was a great one he reversed it to if any part of the body is onside then it’s a goal.
Sorted!?

30th December 2019 at 9:19 am #57615Stevo, I’m down in deepest Cornwall for the New Year so I haven’t seen the game but according to my Son who did see the game Chelsea were awful in the first half but in the second half came out and dominated the game whilst still not playing their best. So under those circumstances not great news for Arsenal.
But you’ll turn the corner Arsenal have a decent squad and some good youngsters coming through once Arteta gets to grips with it all and has been a bit active in the transfer window you’ll be back on track I’m sure. Cheers 9’s

30th December 2019 at 9:26 am #57616The race for 2nd place and 4th place is now where all the excitement is going to be at the top of the PL now with only 1 point separating 2nd and 3rd place and only 6 points separating 4tn place and 8th place.

30th December 2019 at 10:31 am #57619Adlab, itβs just got to silly now. I walked away after wolves goal and was at bar when someone told me two mins later that the goal was disallowed!
I couldnβt see anything wrong it and itβs happening to every team. They are joining for reasons not to give goals.
Itβs ruining the game bigtine

30th December 2019 at 5:40 pm #57632Sean. Dead right. Its spoiling the game. Just looked at the Daily Mail back page headline.
It says…”LIVARPOOL”. We should be talking about the game not 2mm offside. Had the Wolves and Sheffield goals stood we would be looking at more exciting games.Who has best benefitted most from VAR decisions?

30th December 2019 at 10:17 pm #57639Been reviewing the Wolves goal. It’s quite a confusing one.
Why they chose to pick up on that particular Wolves player I don’t know. There’s already at that point one of their players in and around our D Area. So if anything, he’s offside going by that logic.
Once we’re passed that point, everybody is onside, so the goal should have stood.
To me to us an analogy, it’s like there’s 2 separate walls of bricks, but the wrong brick dismantled to support the argument of offside. It doesn’t make any sense at all and I don’t see any clarity from the officials.
We had a big let off there. We need first and foremost, the Offside Rule clarified.
