If Arteta doesnt do a mini-clearout in Jan,Arse could be involved in relegation fight.Let a win slip and lost the game.

29th December 2019 at 4:39 pm #57576Adlab, most sides have injuries or players leaving, yes itβs nice if itβs just players leaving as usually the top teams get adequate notice, however injuries are a different case, then you have to use your squad and your youth development system.
Itβs at times like these you need that cohesion of the club as a whole and trust between the first team management and the youth setup, give youth a chance…..Pagan

29th December 2019 at 4:57 pm #57577This Wolves side has so far been well drilled and organised. They are making us cover every acre and really work to create any sort of opening.

29th December 2019 at 5:24 pm #57583Another close offside cancels a goal. Awful when itβs against you, but very sheepish when it goes your way.

29th December 2019 at 5:25 pm #57584Perfectly good goal from Mane, and offside for the Wolverines goal. But one can see why Wolverines beat City home & away, and they will be a tough oppo for all the teams in the PL,they are so well drilled & organised. They are indeed a very, very good side.

29th December 2019 at 5:35 pm #57586By the rules both VAR decisions looked correct to me. Whether the rules are correct or not is another matter.

29th December 2019 at 5:37 pm #57587AnonymousTo disallow that Wolves goal is the worst decision VAR ever made, robbery

29th December 2019 at 5:43 pm #57588I will admit, disallowing the wolves goal was very harsh. I seem remember we suffered the same fait a few weeks back though

29th December 2019 at 5:50 pm #57589The first was one of those where we usex to say sometimes its given sometimes not.
The second we would all have said level.VAR IS SPOILING THE GAME.

29th December 2019 at 5:52 pm #57590D/H true and I do feel for Wolves, but like you say, we’ve been on the wrong end of these type of decisions too.
I am seeing consistency as something I mentioned earlier today, but other than feet, I don’t personally agree with other body parts taking into account to judge offside.
Cheers

29th December 2019 at 6:00 pm #57591All they need to do is to say such as that is “level” and thus onside. Iam fed up with it whether its good or bad for us. The equipment is not accurate enough…..not me sayinv that but scientists who understand the technology at Cardiff University.

29th December 2019 at 6:29 pm #57592One of those lucky wins today. Nowhere near our best, Wolves very unfortunate to walk away with nothing.

29th December 2019 at 6:30 pm #57593Big win. Wolves a good side. Werenβt at our best, perhaps tiredness coming in after recent events. We all know the close offside VAR rule is farcical and needs changing.

29th December 2019 at 6:30 pm #57594Sigh of relief. Wolves really made us fight for 3 points. Credit to them.
Seeing Lallana and Sadio defending like their life depending on it just shows what Klopp has instilled in his player’s attitudes and work ethic.
No 3 points is just gifted. We have successfully signed off 2019 with a win and now we have 18 wins with a game in hand over Leicester.
Let’s see what January brings us.
