Adlab you mean the disallowed Foden goal? That was an example of when VAR actually works so why are you pissed off?
And Ederson was available as he was not sent off for violent conduct so only one game ban. It was just denying a goal scoring opportunity. Same as Alisson recently when he handled outside the area.

Congrats Steveo. Awful Utd performance. Arsenal were very good in the first half though. Impossible to judge Arteta for now but the early signs are encouraging.

Chelsea were pegged back by a worldie yesterday but there’s a problem with goal scoring and scoring one but not scoring the second always leaves the game open.
All the results went for us though yesterday which was a bit of a bonus.
In the top 4 with a 5/6 point cushion over our rivals at the start of 2020 looked unlikely at the start of the season but staying there will be even more difficult I can’t see it without we make a couple of quality signings in this window.
I think we’ll try but it’s a difficult thing to pull off in January.

Blimey i had not seen that coming, not just the win and 3 points but a clean sheet!
United were poor i guess or did we just make them look so? i always find it hard when watching my team its like the oppos players dont exist you just look at your own and what they do right or wrong!
so happy and relieved with that result, a big 3 points very much needed!!and always nice to beat united we havent done that much in recent years..with the spuds losing and Maureen starting to revert back to “type” its was an enjoyable day!also waa nice to have a full day of football! 4 matches in a row 🙂
Ed, would be to early for Miki but to be fair the last 2 games (well most of the chelsea one) we looked a completly different team with ethic and tactics thats all him compared to Emery and Freddie…its early doors but the signs at least are there and are promising, we didnt even look so fragile and Buster Keaton at the back

“José Mourinho called one of Southampton’s backroom staff “an idiot”, accused the St Mary’s ballboys of being coached to waste time and said VAR should be rebranded as his Spurs side lost Harry Kane to a hamstring injury in a dispiriting 1-0 defeat on the south coast.
The Tottenham manager admitted he was booked for being rude to the Southampton goalkeeping coach, Andrew Sparkes, after venturing into the home dugout to air his frustration at what he felt was Sparkes’s time wasting. “I think the yellow card is fair because I was rude, but I was rude to an idiot,” said Mourinho. “For some reason I was rude. But I was, and because I was rude I deserve the yellow card. Basically, I had bad words with the guy.”
Mourinho also turned his ire on Southampton’s ballboys. “The second half was not easy,” he said. “They were winning, they were defending basically with 10 players, fighting hard and being aggressive, a good aggressive, with lots of fouls, lots of [times] the match stopped and the ballboys were well coached in the delaying of the game and there was not much play.”
Then came his blast at VAR, insisting officials should be renamed. “In this moment the referees are not the referees. I think the VAR should change their name because ‘video assistant referee’, that’s not true. It should be VR, video referees, because they are the referees, they are the assistant. It is strange because you see the referees on the pitch and they are not the referees, they are the assistant referees. The other guys in [Stockley Park], they are the ones that make the big decisions in the game.”

Pleased with the win against Everton, who disappointed .The plus points were Foden, Garcia putting in good performances. KDB running the game and Jesus sharp up front. Pity Bravo gave them a goal.We still need a solid CB, unlikely with Pep style, but I do see a back three of Laporte Garcia and Rodri next season, plus a new signing which could free up Rodri for midfield. We will loose David Silva, probably Fernandinho, Otamendi and maybe Stones.

Generally agree Brian. I think we will keep Stones although he is only good enough playing along side a strong CB such as Kompany or Laporte.
We will need to replace Fernandinho. We have Rodri and Gundogan. We need at leasr one CB on the basis Otemendi goes. Also a top midfielder to replace Silva. Foden still developing.
Sane.? I hope he stays but if not a replacement there. We might be busy in the summer.

A friend of mine goes to the matches and he says the same as me.
I see a few fans are turning in him aswell.
