26th December 2017 at 5:08 pm #9990Hey Ed, you know that conversation we have been having about Pogba. A great player would have got a result for United in at least 1 of those last three games you have lost or drawn just like DeBryune and Silva do for City. He may be a work in progress and have potential but for me he’s just not worth the money. He wouldn’t get in this City side as potential isn’t good enough.

26th December 2017 at 5:20 pm #9992Just going back to the Spud game, don’t know whether the other Spud boys on here would agree with me, but the last two games the lads seem to have that little bit of “swagger” about them that seems to have been missing for most of the season. I know Hattrick Harry is getting all the headlines, but Van the Man has been immense too the last couple of games, even Dier has been looking solid. Have we finally started to click this year?

26th December 2017 at 6:48 pm #9997That is the third cleansheet in a row for Chelsea. Its more like our old self when you see cleansheets coming in consuctive weeks. We missed Morata at weekend. But thank God he was back. Hazard despite his brilliance sometimes frustrates me with the things he ties to do.

26th December 2017 at 6:49 pm #9998I can’t disagree with you Jim on the last two showings. On current form, he’d struggle to get on your bench!

26th December 2017 at 6:51 pm #9999Shame on the rest of the top 4 challengers for allowing this Utd side to be 2nd! We’ve been average for a number of weeks now. No fight, no desire, no style, no chance

26th December 2017 at 7:00 pm #10000Ed all I would say is it’s a weird league from 2 to 7, teams are putting together a run of wins then a run of poor form.

26th December 2017 at 7:05 pm #10001Spuds, this season, have been very patchy at best, but I’m very optimistic for the new year, as mentioned above my Spuds are looking like last years Spuds over the last two performances…

26th December 2017 at 7:24 pm #10004Ed -United shouldn’t be anywhere near the 2nd place! Cannot see us holding that, Spurs,Chelsea, and Liverpool are playing much better.

26th December 2017 at 7:29 pm #10005Peggy…. the Footyplace secret Christmas cracker author… 🙂
I see Maureen is already in the red-tops asking for another 300 million or something, saying he can’t compete with City without it “they spend on full-backs what other teams spend on strikers…”
Telling you, he’s off to PSG in the summer, regardless of what happens…

26th December 2017 at 7:36 pm #10006I think so to Chuckles, can see some friction between him, the players, and the owners being engineered and he leaves by mutual consent with his ego intact…..Pagan

26th December 2017 at 7:41 pm #10007Great Win in the End, First Half I thought We looked a bit lethargic but Once We got into our stride in the Second it seemed a decent scoreline would happen, Coutinho was Fantastic and showed why at times He is courted by Barca and Real. Another Clean Sheet at Home and still only Three Conceded in the League at Anfield.
