Well Irene, all I can say is you weren’t following Chelsea in the 70s and 80s, you weren’t around when Ken Bates bought us for £1, you didn’t think it was a great season when we’d avoided relegation or won the Zenith Data Systems cup. To say most Chelsea fans are unhappy is way wide of the mark.

Im not hear to debate with you guys as its fairly obvious from the reactions you’re not up for having views challenged. I’m here to just post my frustrations.

Call me what you like, it simply reflects badly on you. As I say play the ball not the man.

Read what ive said back in six, twelve or 18 months when Tuchel is binned. Im saying he wont last beyond the summer because I think we are going to struggle to qualify for top four… The managerial cycle is now a major problem. Two former managers and a youth team coach were placed ahead of Lampard in the league when sacked. That indicates the squad isnt as good as believed. Marina might get good value for players but isnt capable of signing players the club need. Who comes after Tuchel. The club need to line up his replacement now.

It is going to end in tears, here’s why, I reckon he’s already lost some of the squad. Zouma not running back to try and stop Minamino, he bust guts for Lampard and then CHO storming off the pitch after looking our most lively player.

Iratefan, the average tenure if chelsea manager is 18 months, given also the nature of tuchel’s appointment mid season and it doesn’t take many brain cells to deduce it is odds against him lasting longer than 18 months

Now what exactly are you hoping to achieve playing up like this, is this the only way you get any attention?

“According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has been speaking on the latest episode of his Here We Go Podcast today.

It comes after Tuchel saw his team beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the last 16 of the Champions League, putting them in a good position to qualify in the second leg.

“Chelsea are very happy with Tuchel and they are planning a big summer with him,” Romano says.

“The board and Tuchel will talk in April to decide the top targets.

“Chelsea want something big with striker and a centre back the positions they want the most ”

Good news if accurate and affordable.

I suspect one or two will be sold in what will be a difficult transfer market for the selling Clubs this Summer to help fund a Summer spend.

Chelsea fans, who is this Musiala lad that you seem to have let go? Heard the name briefly previously but it seems to have all exploded with him now starring for Bayern and opting to represent Germany. Is he going to be another KDB case of one that got away?

Ed, I read something a few months ago, he was born in Germany, moved to England and went through the Chelsea academy. From what I remember Chelsea wanted him to stay, but he sees himself as German and despite having played at age level for England, wants to represent what he sees as his Nation, so I believe his mind was made up…..Pagan

Ed, I think you’ll find that Chelsea couldn’t do much about his Mum is German he was born in Germany and stayed there until he was 7 and when he was 16 his Mum wanted to move back to Germany and Muisala went with her with Bayern offering him a contract.Shame because he spent 9 years at the Chelsea Academy and is Made in Chelsea.😊

Very different circumstances to KDB.

Although I feel more confident than I have for a while going up to Anfield I’m not that confident primarily because of our lack of goals which I don’t think we will be able to properly fix until the Summer providing we can bring in a consistent goal scoring number nine.

Team selection will be interesting ideally I think Tuchel would have liked to bring Silva back into the team at the expense probably of Christansen but on the back of just a weeks training after missing a few weeks he’s not ready.

A word for Christansen though I think he’s really stepped up to the plate in the absence of Silva.

I would retain both Chilwell and James as wing backs because they are both defensively stronger than the alternatives and we have to contain Liverpool’s full backs which are their most offensive weapon.I think the number 6’s pick themselves especially for such a difficult game and I would be amazed if Tuchel didn’t start with Kante alongside Kovavcic.

Tuchel has already intimated that Werner will start and this game could be made for his pace, up front the number 9 choice is an interesting one I wonder if Tuchel wasn’t using a bit of psychology in dropping Abraham from the squad v United???

I do think our pace and energy will trouble Liverpool and that they still look a bit vulnerable at Centre Back and that’s where they can be got at providing we stay strong defensively against probably still the strongest front 3/4 in the PL. Going to stop now as I’m beginning to frighten myself.😊

I would love a win but would snap up a draw if it was on offer right now.

I fancy Chelsea to nick it nine. We can’t score at home and Chelsea are very sound defensively now.

We are absolutely dreadful at home and we are generally poor all over the pitch

I’d take a draw all day long but can only see a Chelsea win and another frustrating night long Everton, burnley, wba and BRighton at anfield

Hope you’re right Sean but Liverpool are still a very good team and very very strong offensively despite the last few results.

I don’t think Liverpool will underestimate Chelsea as they might have previous teams where the results ultimately went against them and they will hit a run of good form shortly.

Remember when people were saying under Tuchel Chelsea hadn’t beaten anyone of any merit.

Away wins at Spurs, Atletico and Liverpool suggest that is now wide of the mark.

Following a February in which Chelsea went unbeaten in the Premier League and won at Tottenham, Thomas Tuchel has been shortlisted for the Manager of the Month award.

Tuchel correctly nominated imo but Pep will rightfully win it imo.

Well that was a disgrace, nearly 70% of the play and only one goal from open play against a team below us in the league, yet again we have to rely on a penalty to make the game safe.

Seriously though, we should maybe have taken at least one more of the opportunities we created, but our work rate off the ball is impressive. Currently you have to say bringing Tommy Tickle in has made a terrific difference……Pagan
