The bitterness is already starting, sheesh. Maybe a bit of humbleness from yourself…

29th July 2020 at 8:16 pm #136500There is a Link backing up Timo’s thoughts
https://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/lampard-key-to-werner-move/182573
Top Players we’ve known for more than a Decade, there’s got to be a Attractions to Lure them into our League.
From what I know, there was complications if a move was to Materialize to LFC. It hasn’t and Accepted. It’s Natural for Rival Clubs To Compete.
That’s it as far as that one goes from my POV and Good Luck.

29th July 2020 at 8:40 pm #136513I don’t know about that young blue but if that’s what you think and of course you’re entitled to your opinion it’s probably best unsaid.
Come on Mak there’s been no bitterness shown to Liverpool in fact the reverse all the Chelsea posters and collectively all posters on here have been massively complimentary about Liverpool and enthusiastic with their congratulations on a great title win.
But there’s certainly no reason for anybody to be humble so let’s not go there!

29th July 2020 at 8:40 pm #136514Before the course of events last week, I’ve not been a fan of Frank Lampard dating back from his over zealous Celebration at Anfield some years back. But then that could be said for Gary Neville or Thierry Henry, though these stick in the minds of Some Supporters Affected at that Moment In Time.
I’ve written this as ‘Universal’, meaning that I would express the same sentiments on the LFC Pages, which in essence of reality as far as this small Community goes, it doesn’t really Figure too much in relation to ‘Us Versus Them’.
Granted, though there is always going to be a level of Preciousness and Competitiveness. And because on here it’s those certain Cluster of Clubs that are of Representation of Fan/Poster where it can render Disagreements.
7 Days or so looking back, on that moment, Re Frank, isn’t that what I’ve done as a Fan and a Poster when course of events haven’t gone my way (Haha :-))
Nowadays more that ever, these people are in the Spotlight, because of these Devices available that can Record and then ‘Display’ for the World And His Wife to see. There’s nothing as such malicious, just Heat Of The Moment and Preciousness which I Accept.

30th July 2020 at 8:01 am #136833Sean, none of this is helping the site mate and it’s all come out of a silly spat on the touchline which happened in the heat of the moment and which happens all the time but if you want to try and pursue it with young blue that’s your choice mate.
I think what young blue said was unhelpful and out of character from him given his posts on the Chelsea site and I hope he’s wise enough to ponder on that and not respond which would only further fuel the fire.

30th July 2020 at 8:13 am #136838“Bayer Leverkusen have rejected Kai Havertz’s demand to move to Chelsea with immediate effect as they want to keep hold of the midfielder for their Europa League campaign next month.
Havertz returned to training last week and told club bosses he wanted permission to complete a move to Chelsea.
Personal terms have apparently been agreed on a five-year contract so the two clubs just need to come to an agreement over the fee.
Leverkusen are holding out for a figure in the region of Β£90million – which is Β£20m more than Chelsea are willing to part with.
However, Frank Lampard will not be able to get his hands on the 21-year-old until late August.
Leverkusen sporting director said on Wednesday that it is “set in stone” that Havertz will remain at the BayArena for their Europa League campaign.” Express 30/07
Understandable from Bayern’s pov I guess.

30th July 2020 at 8:47 am #136853Anonymoussean… you misery winningguts…. all those aggressive posts you’ve sent me on here… Young blue, Sean’s been posting many years, if im not mistaken… I found Liverpool’s title victory tough to take.. a bitter pill to swallow, and yes, cant stand Liverpool given our rivalry. but they deserved it and after 30 years, its a quality side. I dont mind the harps of victory from there fans because I hope we’re on their coat tails next season or pushing them for the title. If they go on an defend the title. I’ll give the due credit.
Sean, I am intrigued why Liverpool cant spend the bucks this year. You’ve won the CL and League, club super cup and all the endorsements that come from it. I am AMAZED weve landed Werner and strong possibility of getting Havertz. I think we’ll be very different going forward next year, hoping we find a defender from somewhere, or find a regular back line.

30th July 2020 at 9:54 am #136883Ye no problem nine mate
442 lol,we only spend what we have mate. Most of our signings are generated through sales. This is reflected in our very low net spend since klopp came
People were screaming for new signings last season and it ended up we really didnβt need any . I fully trust klopp and the owners but we have been very lucky none of our front 3 have missed many games.
We need better cover up top in my opinion. Vvd never injured either .
We will find it very hard to defend the title as others will get stronger. The virus really has affected the club and we have lost a lot of money so I really donβt expect any signings
Liverpool badly need crowds back aseell mate. Klopp and the team feed off anfield which is now a proper fortress
It really will hamper us going into a new season with no fans at anfield

30th July 2020 at 9:44 pm #137272AnonymousFirst, my intention was not to offend anyone, because I’m not that kind of a person. and many in the Chelsea site will tell you. what I posted was posted out of frustration with what I thought some double standard attitude from certain quartets. and I’m sorry some have reacted that way.
Anyway, it’s good to take criticism when you are at the top. did I offend someone there? if yes I apologize for that. but for us to have a proper forum, we always need to take criticism positively. in that way, we can have a healthy debate.
once again, I send my apology to every Liverpool fan who was offended by my earlier post.

30th July 2020 at 10:10 pm #137291Takes a big man to apologise Young Blue respect!
I think all non Liverpool posters and specifically all the Chelsea posters on here have previiudly confirmed their utmost respect for Liverpool FC for what they have achieved in the last 14 months as the previous posts which have acknowledged Liverpool’s achievement confirm. .
Hopefully we can all move on from alk this now.

30th July 2020 at 10:24 pm #137300Young Blue, Warm Welcome to the pages mate. Personally, I wasn’t the slightest bit offended and didn’t even see your post. I think it was just all hot air that blew a little out of proportion.
In the grand scheme of things there more important matters to be concerned about in Covid19, our everyday state of lives plus our jobs and the state of the economy.

31st July 2020 at 7:39 am #137636Re Ake
“He is also left-footed, an attribute no Chelsea defender possesses – but Lampard is right to turn his nose up at the Netherlands international.
The Blues have four centre-backs – Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori – and none of them can defend aerially, not especially well anyway.
And that is Ake’s Achilles’ heel – he cannot win a header, winning around half of his aerial duels – so rather than signing another player with the exact same problem, Lampard must look elsewhere.”
Makes sense given Chelsea’s defensive weakness.

31st July 2020 at 8:01 am #137653Talk of Willian to Barca?
I just admit I would much prefer that than Willian joining a PL rival.
The Willian of today deserves a new 3 year contract but can be play to that level in a year or two’s time? And would he still get in the team considering who we’ve got in the wide areas already, who we’ve bought and who might be coming.
Sad but I think we may have seen the last of Willian at Chelsea. But you never know and he could be a very useful squad player going forwards?

31st July 2020 at 9:44 am #137715AnonymousAka no thanks he has certain attributes but not enough, never sign a player from a team that’s just been relegated especially a defender.
