Nine
And remember some where writting him off when we signed him last summer. i remember how much useless was Kovacic at the Chelsea page. here he is first forward some 7 months he is our most important midfielder if not player. he has the highest dribbling success rate in a league that has so many technically gifted players. he who laughes last loves longest.?

24th February 2020 at 10:27 pm #75197AnonymousI wouldn’t get carried away with Kovacic… a clever work horse but offers scant else. Tammy Abraham would be my player of the season. Without his goals, we’d be struggling, Hit and miss sometimes, but looking forward to seeing more of him in attack next season… Pukki would be a perfect fit for us, something reminds me of eider gudjohnsen about him. Clever player… Think he’d be lethal in our set up… proven goal scorer in a struggling side and fashions chances… Reckon a number of clubs will go for him.

24th February 2020 at 11:07 pm #75229If Kovacic could only add goals to his game Chelseaman what a player he would be then.

25th February 2020 at 6:13 am #75527Anonymoustrouble is 9. he hasn’t in two seasons…. nor has he created anything for anyone with those dribbles chelseaman. so in two seasons, its 3313 minutes on the pitch. thats 36 league games, he has scored one league goal and created five.
you could even argue that he doesn’t really offer any protection to the defence because we’ve conceded more goals than we have done this season than last year. So he may be king of the league dribbling charts, but certainly not in tackles… Jorginho has made more tackles this year than Kovacic… Dave is our top tackler. Kovacic is comparable to will Hughes of Watford and John Mcgin’s efforts. I will give him his dues and say he’s been a very useful signing for us given our transfer ban. His effort is always appreciated but will he start games ahead of kante, RLC, Mount when all are fit?

25th February 2020 at 12:19 pm #75767Well, after that impressive result,we need to maintain our momentum going forward to the game. the same team would be my prefered team. and we donโt have that much options either. the key to our success will be how we transition quickly from attack to defence, because Bayern have a host of players that can hurt us, like Lowendowski and Granby. so getting into shape quickly when we lose the ball will be important.
And one thing is that, this game is a must not lose game, we need to make sure that we donโt lose the game. our defence should man mark Lowendowski to nullify their threat.

25th February 2020 at 2:23 pm #75856Massive test tonight v Bayern. Hand on heart last 16 was probably our bext expected achievement and Bayern might be a Bridge too far. But you just never know.

25th February 2020 at 2:34 pm #75864The latest claim from El Chiringuito TV is that Chelsea have made an offer to Atletico Madrid of 30 million euros plus Kepa, in exchange for their keeper Jan Oblak???

25th February 2020 at 5:31 pm #75995I would rather have the Ajax keeper than Oblak Nine. the Ajax keeper is more of a less risk option. and he has been fantastic for them. and Ajax is to to value him at โฌ40m. i donโt know why are not jumping to that option

25th February 2020 at 5:45 pm #76007All rumours currently Chelseaman hence the question marks. I don’t believe anything as to who we’re signing until I read it confirmed on the Chelsea Official Club Site.?

25th February 2020 at 10:29 pm #76223Simply not good enough. at some point Frank has ti realise that Christensen is not the kind of a cb that should be the first choice of Cfc going forward. and tonightโs performance have highlighted that. since his reintrodtion to the team we have been conceding an average of two goals a game with the exception of Burnley game. so i donโt know what Frank sees in him.
Bayern have out run us in the middle, and it took 2 goals to concede for Frank to realise that. so tonight he has been very poor. Mount has had a bad day in the office and Frank should have taken him off rather than Giroud. we need a defensive minded midfielder to play infront of our back four. especiallu when we are playing against the top teams.
Iโm worried about how we will approach against Bournemouth game granted they will sit back and try to frustrate us. so i donโt know how we will approach with the rate at which we are making mistakes

25th February 2020 at 10:38 pm #76229Yes, the away leg I will not bother with. I’ll check the result and watch a replay providing it’s not a demolition. Maybe Bayern will go easy on us. One good thing is that none of these results will ever be a get square for 19 May 2012 ๐
Only losing a Champions League final to Bayern Munich will do that and even then we would be even with them. Currently we are the winners in that respect.

25th February 2020 at 10:50 pm #76238Reality is that whoever Frank selected tonight this game was going to be a Bridge too far Bayern are just too good for us currently all over the pitch.

26th February 2020 at 6:46 am #76548AnonymousA disaster against by their standards a very average Bayern Munich team, sometimes I wonder if having such a high IQ like Lampard even matters.

26th February 2020 at 7:43 am #76578AnonymousWe were schooled by a very organised and disciplined side. There is nothing average about Lewendowski. We were once linked with him… anyhow. That’s it for this seasons Champions league and the gulf between us and them was enormous in the second half when they stepped it up. Got to hand it to them, we were spanked.
Next target for this season. Finish above Leicester and have a fun FA Cup run.

26th February 2020 at 8:00 am #76589Strangely enough last night’s game may have done us all a favour because everyone from Roman down now knows the true size of the task to get us back competing with the very best again.
Last 16 was always imo the best we could hope for currently, the transfer ban following the loss of Hazard has left us short of quslity and the recent injuries to Kante, Pulisic, Hudson Odoi and Abraham as well as the almost season long injury to Loftus Cheek has just added to that at a vital stage of the season.
Roman and the Board now know the size of the task to try and get us back to where we want to be.
Ziyech can only be the start and we need to sign another 3 or 4 top quality players in the Summer window and for Frank to be given the backing and time he needs.

26th February 2020 at 9:43 am #76651“There were a couple of performances in our team, mainly Kovacic, that played with a personality and a quality that makes you go โhe could play in any team with that levelโ.
โOther than that, we need to see it wasnโt a night we showed that.โ Frank Lampard
