9, no need to get touchy, these are genuine questions, is it a rolling 3 years or is in sets of 3 years? Obviously the latter would suit us better…..Pagan

10th February 2020 at 9:13 pm #68407Pagan,operationally losses and profits just like any company are cumulative.
UEFA though work in 3 year cycles.
As I said the Club have always rigidly struck to adhering to UEFA’s FFP rules and are on record as saying that the last financial results don’t put the Club’s adherence to FFP at risk.
Obviously the positive transfer funds inc the Hazard monies are post the last fy’s results as are the monies we receive for Morata in the Summer.
The signs imo are positive for Chelsea to be quite active in the Summer transfer market but time will tell.

10th February 2020 at 10:58 pm #68409“Chelsea Under-18s struck seven times and moved into the last eight of the FA Youth Cup, matching our biggest competition win since 2017 with tonight’s triumph over Wolves at Aldershot.”
The next generation?
Chelsea have won the FA Youth Cup in 7 of the last 10 years underlining the continued strength of the Academy.

12th February 2020 at 10:42 am #68451“Itβs a massive moment for me and Iβm really happy,β Gilmour said of the switch. ββI went with the squad to Leicester and even though I wasnβt involved, the gaffer pulled me afterwards to tell me that after the winter break Iβd be with the first-team permanently.
βItβs a dream come true for me. Itβs the first big step I think, moving into the first team dressing room at a club like Chelsea. Itβs massive for me.” Billy Gilmour 11/02
Smart move by Frank imo this boy has all the makings of being something special.

12th February 2020 at 3:42 pm #68480“Ziyech was one of Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard’s top targets in January but Ajax insisted on keeping him until the summer.
Chelsea kept working on the deal after the window closed and it is understood the Premier League club are confident an announcement will be made soon before he moves to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.” Sky Sports 12/02
Here’s hoping.??

13th February 2020 at 11:30 am #68890Kepa expects to start, and that is the right decision in my opinion, whilst Willy hasnβt made many mistakes, but the one mistake he made was costly. so I would rather have Kepa back and he is now motivated more than ever before. once Sarri dropped him when he has disobeyed him, and his next match was a league cup semifinal and he has saved penalties and was our hero, so I expect him to get his confidence back. and what better opposition than United?
My only worry is if Lampard sticks with Christensen, he doesnβt seem to have the concentration required to play at CB, I wonder if Lampard could explore another position he could utilise him. but he seems to be struggling at CB, of our four centre backs, he is the weakest, others are powerful and have the speed and physicality needed in the league.
If Lampard opts to deploy back three, would like Alonso to play in the left wing-back, he will give us the width and goal threat, and setpiece deliveries in around the box freekicks, there are so many benefits in utilising him on the left wing-back. my choice for the other wing-back is Reece James because his deliveries are quality, i will also play Azpi at the right side of the back three to cover for James.

Sorry to hear your youβre having health issues, all I can say is listen to your Mrs and donβt do the blokey thing of ignoring things cause itβll be ok.
