Three days have left so far in January transfer, and I don’t know who Chelsea have gone for, or who we want. that sounds confusing. is it Cavani? is it Dembele? is it Piestek from Milan? unless we have lined up a deal to sign someone. it doesn’t look like we will sign someone this winter.

I was reading today that were been offered Piatek from AC Milan. i remember he was once linked with us back last winter transfer window. and we opted not to take him. and one may have to ask why is Milan keen to sell him?

Iβm hearing that Frank has asked Marina to prioritise the summer moves for Ziyech and Chilwell. which United are also looking to beat us. Ziyech is a left-footed winger who has a very good range of passing and inch-perfect crosses.someone has finally seen where our problems lie.?

I was reading reports from several papers today, that Spurs want to sign Giroud from Chelsea. I hope we are not stupid enough to strengthen a direct rival for top 4. let them seek player elsewhere. do you think Spurs would have sold us had the shoe been on the other foot? the answer is no! they would have done everything in their power to block us from getting him. and I expect nothing less from Chelsea.

CMan, Chelsea wonβt let Giroud leave if they donβt sign a striker themselves and even then I think it would be foolish for them to strengthen a 4th place rival. Shouldnβt happen!

Frank confirms in his pre match press conference there will be no ins and no outs at Chelsea.
Iβm not surprised it was always going to be a very difficult market to get anything like the players we would have wanted and itβs pointless just buying players for the sake of it.
Best we kept our powder dry and plan for the Summer window though not being able to strengthen in January may well cost us 4th place.
Good news is that Tammy trained without any problems today
What we need to do now is focus on what we’ve got and get Tammy, Pulisic and Reece James back fit and playing Loftus Cheek will be like a new signing for us though once we get him match fit. Giroud staying makes sense.

4 hours to kick off and will be tough but for some reason I have got a good feeling about this match because after no activity in the window these players are going to rally for Frank and repay his belief in them. On top of that I think Vardy is out and Leicester are on a bit of a downer coming off the back of a midweek Carabao loss to Villa whilst our lads have been rested. Not often Frank has had a whole week to focus on one match. Hope I am right. 1-0 to us.

It might well be the case now that we don’t make the top 4 but possibly Fernandes aside who moved in that window in the PL who could have added quality to the current squad.
January has always been a difficult window to buy players Clubs really want and this window was probably the worst of all.
Villa allegedly turned down signing Odion Ighalo on Thursday so we could have gone for him and whilst I understand why United signed him until the end of the season would he have strengthened us I don’t think so.
Of course if we don’t make the top 4 it will make it more difficult to buy who we want but equally just panic buying in January would have suffocated the squad with potentially the wrong players.
The Summer window is a massively important window for us though.

6 points ahead of utd and play utd at home soon. What a huge game
Agree with nine. No point rushing to bring anyone in. Chelsea have a better squad then utd and have some really good players.
Chelsea just need to get their home form back
