If Tammy learns when to shoot and when to pass the ball. we would score a few more goals. seems like Brighton is by passing our midfield. Kovacic is needed as soon as possible. we seem to lack a bite in our midfield which is putting more pressure into our defence.

I saw it on the Skysport i think it’s true. last season we have bought massively with Jorginho and Kepa sitting well over Β£100m alone. and without Champions league revenue in place. but the good news is that we still comply with FFFP. my guess is that next year will be better as we have only bought Kovacic and sold over Β£100m. plus our record CL revenue in the group stage. with the Yokahamma deal to be renegotiated. we will be in a better position.

These days, the club funds our transfers. gone are the days when Roman was putting money. thanks to the FFFP, the club can afford a loss of Β£100m. and we need to genenrate income before we buy.

Mav, it’s from the financials so it’s 100% accurate but it’s circumstantial and several things weren’t in our favour including dropping Β£35m at the last minute on the Courtois/Kepa deal in that FY which wasn’t expected.
Nearly Β£70m due from the Morata sale in the summer would pretty much wipe that loss out and as Cman says importantly judged over the 3 year period the Club is still within FFP.

Yesterday demonstrated we’re still short in certain areas Michy and Giroud aren’t the answer striker wise imo and one or both need to be sold to help fund someone to share the load with Tammy.

CMan, re the shirt sponsorship the Yokohama deal I believe ends at the end of this season and whilst the Club have been in negotiations with Yokohama about extending that sponsorship they are also talking to potential new shirt sponsors too obviously with the objective to bring more money in.

Forest at the Bridge on Sunday in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
Team selection for this one will be interesting.
Itβs a game we need to win A) to progress in a competition which with some luck of the draw etc etc weβve got a chance of potentially winning and B) because we need to get this home form monkey of our backs.

Are we beginning to see the end of Kante at Chelsea? suddenly the Real Madrid link appears and his form dips in. are Chelsea considering selling him? i still think we need to keep him and play him were he fits the team which is the defensive role. this guy is a defensive midfielder who wins tackles and not give inch perfect passes. find another role for Jorginho to replicate his success.

The speculation re Kante is eminating from Spain Cman.
But if Real really want him with 3 years left on his contract still to run from next Summer it will be Chelsea’s decision as to whether they wish to sell him or not and it will cost Real an awful lot of money too.
Still one of the first names on the Chelsea team sheet currently imo.
