Hi there Sean, all good mate but a combination of what is going on at Chelsea AGAIN plus the loss of good mate nines has rattled me a bit so keeping a lowish profile. The injuries are a huge part of it and I just don’t understand for a few seasons now it has been the common theme. Always seems to be key players just when something appears like it might blossom with the side. Yes mate just rattled right now. Latest is Joao Felix having fun at Barcelona with 2 goals and an assist and looking TOP class. We had him, albeit on loan but had the option to extend or even buy. What do they do? Let him go and he was one of a few that actually looked promising last season then spend a billion all up on mostly inferior/unproven players. Maybe United have even greater problems as they have a core of experience that have been there for a good period of time now yet they are still spineless. That is one thing that keeps me going I guess π Hope you are well bud. Liverpool looking OK now even though you have lost some good ones Klopp has got in talent and making it all happen for you. Good luck this season. Re nines, yes mate it is not the same any more. He was the majority reason together with Lucky Destiny why I spent so much time on here.

20th September 2023 at 3:47 pm #209594Yes it is a small community but a valued one. Feeling it of late slightly with Lucky not being around. Posters of course have commitments outside Football and so they may not have time etc.
Nine is thought of on here and thoughts have sparked during match days, and certain types of subjects; often ones that have been raised and discussed before.
That is a good thing because it wholeheartedly proves how highly he was respected and appreciated by practically everybody on here.

20th September 2023 at 9:56 pm #209613Yemate, Iβm good thanks. Ye nine is always in my thoughts when on here. Not sure weβre lucky but he was always up for a good discussion
Wouldbt go overboard about the pool as there be plenty of bumps with a whole new midfield etc. still, started very well and have to say, Iβve watched a lot of football so far and itβs being very enjoyable

8th October 2023 at 3:28 am #210141I see you have not posted since September 5 Lucky Destiny. I sincerely hope all is well mate. Guessing you may just be away on leave/having a short break or, like me, losing interest a bit since our sad loss of Nines. Neither site is the same without him. A massive loss both as a wonderful poster and lovely human being. Yes, I did exchange emails with him personally for a while there for which I will always be thankful.
STERLING Sterling. Impressive. Great win Chelsea. The good thing about the hard run ahead is we have a full week to prepare specifically for the upcoming game while our opponents are otherwise involved in high pressure European matches needing to ensure their progression beyond the Group stage. That and our lift in overall performance, increase in goal scoring ability plus the return of a few key players suggest we might actually do OK in this period and salvage some points. Things appear a lot brighter than they were only a few weeks back.

16th October 2023 at 6:14 am #210246Interestingly though Nil we have multiple choices across the park that can be selected to do a job and for some reason playing some out of position has had more of a positive effect of late. Colwill and Cucurella prime examples and leaving Chilwell out also coincides with a change in Dynamics and a few goals and points. Poch deserves plenty of credit I reckon.

21st October 2023 at 11:41 pm #210296Threw it away. Had them on toast. The Kepa or Sanchez debate rages on and that , yet another crazy error, certainly cannot make it a clear cut decision in favour of the better shot stopper we currently have. Maybe the American deserves to be looked at. Who knows. Whatever, it is crystal clear now the positive impact Poch has made with these lads and the future can only be bright with plenty of points gathered this season. The task ahead now looks exciting more than daunting with matches against the likes of City, Newcastle and United in the not too distant future. I’m liking the performances of Gallagher more and more. We are surely not selling that lad in January. If they sold him I reckon Poch would throw his hands up in the air and walk out Silva looked the rock as usual and loved hearing the supporters singing away his name. Awesome!

22nd October 2023 at 6:47 am #210298It was a decent performance against one of the 2 top teams in the country and TBF it never felt like they would score till the worlds most brainless keeper did his regular act, in fact he was doing it before that time in the game.
