Kepa let himself down that day if the Manager says you come off you come off, Kepa has since admitted he was in the wrong and apologised all round.

Ironically Kepa has proved himself to be a very good penalty shoot out Keeper and replaced Mendy in the European Super Cup Final this September and helped Chelsea take the trophy.

The majority of Chelsea fans were upset with Kepa that day me included but it’s almost 3 years ago now Kepa has wholeheartedly apologised and Chelsea fans have had to forgive and forget. Cheers 9’s

I am glad to have misread that then, sorry.

As for Kepa, ya it was a long time ago and I dont follow Chelsea, so I dont see the progress, or any words he’s spoken about it since. I only remember thinking how if I were the manager, I’d walk onto the pitch and drag him off myself. Things werent going well for Sari then but that to me seemed like the final nail int he coffin.

You must have control of your players and I’ll also say that Im surprised that there arent rules around the matter, in terms of the board going up and then a player MUST go off, or get a red card.

I’m glad that Azpi is back to the RCB role. Christensen has been struggling in that role in our last premeier league game. Azpi will support both James and Silva. Our best man for that role is Chalobah, since his injury we have suffered defensively.

Nine it’s worrying as hell bud as its not just 1 or 2 games now we are so stupid in our defending it’s unbelievable really.

It’s not just the midfield but our centre backs, rudi and azpi were making terrible decisions to step out of backline and press and this is allowing runners space and allowing average teams to make us look stupid defensively pulling us all over the place. No composure at all it is a completely different team, 8 goals conceded last 3 games!!! We hadn’t conceded that many in like 15 games prior to that.

Interesting take, personally I don’t think even with everyone fit we will over take city now, but I think we possibly could pool and their success is clearly dependent on salah so if he were to be injured for the same amount of time as we have missed kante and kovacic we defo could.

Long season but I agree with bookies and odds are we will finish 3rd

I think we are forgetting that we have 2-3 key players missing. Kante and Kovacic are both anupgrade to Loftus Cheek. Chilwell is an upgrade to Alonso. And we have a host of players who are out of form. Our dip in form is understandable. But am glad we have won. If we can win games, then the confidence will return. The only worry is have that we are not creating enough chances for Lukaku.

The reason as to why our dedense is struggling is because they are getting zero protection from our midfield. Both Loftus Cheek and Jorginho are not as good defensively as Kante and Kovacic. I have also observed when Werner plays alongside Lukaku, he performs better. It’s high time that Pulisic also starts games. A front trio of Pulisic, Mount and Lukaku will be very good offensively.

Yeah YB, the back 3 are being exposed and too often outside centre backs are needing to defend wide or being pulled in to midfield. Kovacic and kante huge losses for us.

I think as much as I put my faith in Alonso as the best option to replace chilwell, and stand by that, it’s clear that defensively he is even less reliable than when he was in his prime and that ain’t helping either. Although he has been OK going forward and got a few assists last few weeks.

Regards chances for lukaku, I think Ed was on point a few weeks back and I agree. Without a striker we bemoan how we create so much but don’t score, but adding the striker don’t solve that if it leads to less chances being created.

He can’t just stand on shoulders of last defenders waiting for the ball to be put on a plate for him imo. He needs to be moving in to channels far more and coming deep to link up play. We need to make make opposition defenders move around to create chances and we do that better when havertz plays there.

Quite a few problems for tuchel to solve for sure

Lucky, “Kante and Chalobah returned to training today, having been in yesterday doing physical work when most of the squad were off.

Chilwell has also stepped up his recovery and done some light fitness work on grass. This is ahead of a targeted return in early to mid-January. #CFC”
