I was reading today that the coach United are appointing has refused similar role at Chelsea. And i stopped to thank him for that 10 times. Because what that gave us was Tuchel a 47 yr old coach at the time compared to 64/65 year old coach.and that in return delivered us the champions league. And the good form we are enjoying this season.
Another issue i’m reading is that Chelsea suspect Chilwell has suffered ACL injury.soi hope we go for the out and out wing back if the extent injury is confirmed. I hope nothing is serious.

26th November 2021 at 5:11 am #189850AnonymousChillwill will be out for a very long period, no point in bringing in any more players the squad is already overbloated and players need to play regularly, they will otherwise become unhappy and demand to leave cause they know they will get game time at other clubs. If you know a bit about the game there’s plenty of options available for Tuchel.

26th November 2021 at 10:36 am #189869Are you privy to what happens behind the scenes? Did you receive regular updates from the club that we don’t get? Chelsea suspect, and underline the word suspect in the report. And any suspicion is not always final. Am waiting Tuchel to give update today, anyhlthing else, i’m treating it as a rumour.

26th November 2021 at 10:51 am #189871Seemingly they are going to give Chilwells ACL a chance to heal without an operation but may have to revisit that strategy later depending on how it goes.

26th November 2021 at 2:29 pm #189897“Ben is out, he has a partial tear of his ACL, and the decision is to treat it conservatively,” Tuchel said.
The next six weeks will tell the story if he makes it and be available or if he will need surgery.
We are very sad but he at the moment is very positive because his body has reacted positively to the first treatments and the injury.”
Fingers crossed its not as bad as feared

26th November 2021 at 2:46 pm #189898Thank God! Even though the six weeks is a blow to the team, i think i would rather take that than nine months. The lad has been in the form of his life. I hope he returns.

26th November 2021 at 2:51 pm #189899YB, here’s no guarantee that the 6 weeks will work let’s hope it does but there’s a chance at the end of the 6 weeks Chilwell might still need an operation it’s open to review by the medical team depending on how Chilwell progresses. π€π€π€π€ Though!

26th November 2021 at 4:31 pm #189901I know nothing is guaranteed at the moment. But i’m still clinging to the hope that all will be fine after six weeks. The way Tuchel wants to play suits Chilwell and he was thriving. And one thing i like about the boy is that he gives his all everytime he wears the jersey. Sometimes you may mistaken him to be as one of our academy players. He enjoys close friendship with Mason Mount and Reece James. I haven’t seen a player bond with his team mates like that. Although we have a contigent of English players which helped him settle quicker.

26th November 2021 at 4:49 pm #189902Chelsea are considering recalling Ian Maatsen from his loan at Coventry due to Ben Chilwellβs recent ACL injury. Don’t know much about this guy. Anyone who have seen him play?

26th November 2021 at 6:54 pm #189906Very frustrating picking up an injury in a moment like this when I am really enjoying my football and playing in this team. I will do everything I can to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. Thank you for all the messages of support. β€οΈ

27th November 2021 at 6:25 am #189908AnonymousWithout trying to appear sarcastic with United sacking Solsjkaer, Maguire suspended and new people hired by United it is a huge blow to Chelsea for Sundays game, I fear the worst.

27th November 2021 at 7:57 am #189909Havertz was not risked in the midweek win over Juventus after sustaining a minor hamstring injury in the victory over Leicester last weekend, but he has since been declared fit for Sundayβs match.
When asked in his pre-match press conference if the striker has recovered in time for Sunday, the boss replied: βYes, he is fit.’ Chelsea Official Club Site.
Good news!

27th November 2021 at 8:14 am #189911AnonymousUnited always raise their game against Chelsea probably cause Chelsea have been the most successful English club this century so its anyone’s game, on the day a bit of luck or controversial decisions do help

27th November 2021 at 8:34 am #189912AnonymousThanks to Jorginho missing 3 penalties on a trot for Italy they will now miss their 2nd consecutive world cup cause if they win their semi final they will have to face Portugal in Portugal, mission impossible
