Cman, if Brian as a City fan can’t predict the City team I’m not sure I can. But if David Silva is fit I think he’ll play and I would be very surprised not to see Gundogan selected but who knows.
The only thing I can predict is that whoever is selected by Pep it will be a very strong City team and a very difficult game for Chelsea.
All will be revealed at circa 4:30pm tomorrow. ?

Not that there has been any real reason to change my mind, besides just taking another look at things but I still think Chelsea will beat City. A draw would be best for Liverpool but as I said before, I kinda like this Chelsea side and I want to see what they can do (besides beat us to the title).

The media won;t know what to make of themselves and their stupid over-statements if Liverpool drop points and if Chelsea win.
If I weren’t a Liverpool supporter, I’d nearly be hoping for this, what with their “Liverpool have surely won it now, right?” carry on.
What i wouldn’t give for serious sports journalism. This Murdoch off-brand, flavour of the week = “best ever” crap is tiring.

Cm, yep and I forgot Bernardo Silva was suspended too hence Mahrez starting. Ridiculous suspension by the way.

If Azpi can roll back the years and have an inspired match. we stand a chance of getting something from that game. all pressure is on City to win as they are the favourites here. and if we can capitalize on this, it may play in to our hands. with the pace at our front 3 when they go out all attack. but equally we can’t underestimate the quality they have got. in Silva, KDB, Sterling, Mahrez and Aguero. all of these players are match winners. our hands are full tonight.

I can see Mount coming on early in the second half poor ball from Kovacic led to the 2nd goal same with Jorginho for the first goal. You just don’t let Mahrez come inside on to his left foot Frank will be furious with Emerson over that.

We were brought down to earth. again the silly mistakes that we keep making costed us. and to be honest we were lucky to have lost 2-1 only. we need an imposing keeper, sadly every time i watch Kepa i have my hand on my heart. he needs a competition. we also need a leftback. bring back Kante to play infront of our back 4 in big games and drop Jorginho. time to pick up ourselves for the Valnecia game. and one last thing it was a mistake benching Mount.

Frustrated with the mistakes but I thought some of our play was exceptional, even with Hazard and Sarri ball we didnt come near competing with city like that in terms of both possession and territory.
Its still quite promising for me. We defo need a new left back asap and come summer will need new winger as pedro is sure to go and Willian 90% sure to go. Maybe a centre back if Rudiger struggles for form or fitness. I also think a striker is on the cards as Bats is not good enough competition for Tammy. So Left back, winger and striker are priority positions to recruit for and maybe a centre back too.
Thats not to big of an ask to achieve over two windows if the ban is uplifted ahead of Jan. We could be ready to compete next season.

If I could pick the players to get over the next two windows, I would like Chilwell, Sancho and Timo Werner. Those three, or players of same profile and quality, would take us to another level when combined with the experience the core of our young players will gain this season, not to mention the experience Lamps will gain this season. Obviously a new back up keeper and centre back may come in as well, but unless we sell I think our midfield is the last area that needs strengthening. Dont think Chilwell is realistic but do think we have a chance with the other two.

He’s definitely right and honestly lads, I feel that I might have won my bet had that first goal not gone in. That was very unlucky. I mean, could ye have closed KDB down, sure and the defending for the 2nd could have been a lot better but I saw nothing in that game (only saw like half of it here and there) that’s changed my mind about this Chelsea project. You’re way ahead of the curve that you “should” be on and I think had that game today been at Stamford Bridge, you’d have had them.
