Yeah Lucky I think Rudiger is the toughest nut to crack I’ve not given up hope yet but it does look more unlikely than likely currently but 🤞🤞🤞
I don’t think if Rudiger leaves he will go to another PL Club I think Real, PSG or Bayern are more likely destinations if he does choose to go.
Time will tell buddie.

5th November 2021 at 4:19 pm #1883384 out v Burnley Lukaku, Werner. Kovacic and Alonso. Mount likely to be only fit enough for the bench with a wisdom tooth infection. No point in crying about it though we just have to try and find solutions in the squad and despite the injuries hope we can claim the points v a belligerent opponent in Burnley.

5th November 2021 at 11:10 pm #188346Spurs and levy are trying to copy every trick that Chelsea does, they have hired ex Chelsea coaches, and now they have copied the mid season sacking. Another one they have copied is Chelsea gave Tuchel 18 month contract in january, Spurs copied that with Conte by giving him 18 months. For God’s sake you can run a whole club by copying Chelsea strategies.😊

6th November 2021 at 10:29 am #188354Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery yb.😊
Tbh Spurs appointing Conte was a no brainer he might be extremely volatile and have a short shelf life but he was the best available and in the short to medium term I suspect he will sort Spurs out.

6th November 2021 at 10:55 am #188356Here is what Carragher said about those who are drawing comparision between the deal that Chelsea gave Tuchel and the one Spurs gave Conte:
‘Many will argue such a deal [for Conte] is no different to what Chelsea gave Thomas Tuchel when he became their coach, rapidly extending his terms when he won the Champions League after six months,’
‘The flaw in that claim – as Conte will realise quicker than anyone – is Spurs are not Chelsea.‘There is no point expecting the Italian to have the same instant impact as he did at Stamford Bridge, where the foundations were in place and he could use his coaching skills to get a tune from top class players.
‘Spurs are miles behind Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, all of whom have settled sides and world-class managers. As we saw last weekend, Manchester United are far superior to Spurs, too.
‘Conte will not tolerate that for long. He will seek to radically change the mentality at the club, initially working out if he can do so with the players he has inherited or by gradually reconfiguring the squad. Everything we have seen for the last three years says it must be the latter.’

6th November 2021 at 11:32 am #188357The difference between Spurs and Chelsea offering a new manager an 18 month deal is at Chelsea that’s called a long term deal……..Pagan

6th November 2021 at 12:34 pm #188359Levy is following Chelsea’s plan but without the same transfer budget. Therein lies the problem. Hence it effectively becomes a case of hoping “management by hand grenade” will work.

6th November 2021 at 2:09 pm #188393Mendy, Rudiger, Silva, Christensen, Chilwell, Kante, Jorginho, James, Hodson Odoi, Barkley, Havertz. i guess this is 3-4-2-1 formation. but i have to say, that is one hell of an endorsment for Barkley by Tuchel.

6th November 2021 at 2:32 pm #188411Barkley a bit more robust than Ziyech against a physical team like Burnley.
Barkley back from the dead Tuchel has been good at that and not just with Barkley.

6th November 2021 at 2:36 pm #188415Or it could be a trick to put him on the shop in January transfer window to fetch cash for the team. either way, Tuchel has succeeded where many failed. one of the achilles heel of the past Chelsea coaches wasn’t getting a peformance from our first eleven, the challenge has always been geting a performance from the fringe players. and thankfully, Tuchel is doing that finally. in the past, players like Chalobah, Sarr, Alonso, Azpi, Ziyech, Loftus Cheek and Barkley would have been a problem for the club. now Tuchel has found a way to utilising them to keep them happy.

Really couldn’t see Tuchel doing that yb.
Ziyech despite a half decent performance in midweek and scoring a goal hasn’t been pulling up trees especially in the PL and it’s fresh legs plus Barkley has an eye for a goal too

6th November 2021 at 2:51 pm #188417If anything Ziyech will be leaving, frankly for me his been a big disappointment, Barkley, Loftus Cheek and a couple of others deserve to start. Good luck to the guys however don’t expect the same kind of domination City just had.
