Pulisic at his best makes us such a better team nine but the problem is if he is without injury for 15 games it takes him good 5-10 to get to that level then we see a handful of stellar performances before he is injured again and the cycle repeats. Not sure if we will ever be able to count on him which is such a shame but fingers crossed he gets a good run this time.

10th October 2021 at 10:05 am #186341Happy for Ben Chilwell, after his difficult time at the Euros, and then came back only to lose his place in the team. Bit his hopes are high now, two goals in two games for club and country will do a world of good for his confidence.

10th October 2021 at 3:40 pm #186352Billy Gilmour was outstanding in the second half v Israel yesterday he needs to be incorporated as an integral part of the Chelsea squad next season and get real game time with us.

11th October 2021 at 5:43 pm #186439Lucky, ha, ha, apologies. Reports today suggest Roman wants to bring Hazard back to the Bridge possibly in January but Real want Reece James?

11th October 2021 at 5:49 pm #186443Ha Nine that’s mental and I agree with you, no way can we let James go.
Don’t want hazard back to be honest he is well past it now, can’t see him being close to the player he was but will still want to be paid as such.

11th October 2021 at 8:18 pm #186448I think Hazard has got at least another 2/3 years in him at the very top and he’s got something to prove too.
At the right price personally I would take him back in a heartbeat it would be a risk but a risk worth taking in my imo.
All down to Roman and Tommy though.

12th October 2021 at 6:02 am #186453Nine,
Am with Lucky on this one. Hazard is way past his best now. He is not the player he was 2-3 years ago. He is injury prone, can’t dribble past player which was his main strength, he can’t create chncesas he used in his Chelsea days. I think to be fair his best days are behind him.
I would rather give that time amd patience to Havertz and Pulisic. He was the ine who run to Real Madrid, so he should have his cake. The only way i would consider him now is if he is prepared to accept significant pay cut and play the one odd cup game and back up role. When fit Pulisic is better than him now. His best days are behind him anyway.

12th October 2021 at 7:23 am #186455If only Pulisic could stay injury free, surely today those type of injuries can be fixed and sorted out, I believe it’s all internal injuries which suggests his system needs something. I also believe he has more to offer than Hazard at this stage of their careers. I been watching Hazard at Real his a very very pale shadow of the player he was and its an even much easier league to play in than the EPL.

12th October 2021 at 7:28 am #186456You’ve obviously seen many more Real Madrid games that Hazard has played in than me YB right, because I couldn’t draw your conclusions we do though know injuries have blighted his time at Real Madrid which is a shame for him because his injury record was good at Chelsea.
It may all be rumours anyway if not it’s down to Roman and Tuchel to decide whether it’s the right move or not.

12th October 2021 at 11:58 am #186462Former Chelsea coach Eddie Newton has lifted the lid on how Jose Mourinho drove Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne and Lukaku of the club. The controversial Portuguese manager returned for a second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge in 2013, during which time he won the Premier League but also reportedly fell out with a number of players before being sacked in December 2015.

12th October 2021 at 1:48 pm #186465Germany continued their spotless record under new coach Hansi Flick and secured qualification for the 2022 World Cup as Chelsea striker Timo Werner scored twice in a 4-0 rout of North Macedonia on Monday.
Just months after they slumped to a shock 2-1 defeat to the same opponent on home soil, Germany cruised to a dominant win in Skopje to increase their lead at the top of Group J to eight points and secure their berth at next yearโs tournament in Qatar.
Wernerโs Chelsea team-mate Kai Havertz also got on the scoresheet and Jamal Musiala scored his first international goal as Germany made it five wins out of five under Flick, who took over from Joachim Loew after Euro 2020.โ
Good news for Timo and Kai which will do their confidence a world of good.
However…..
Chelsea supporters have been left in dismay after learning that Anthony Taylor will referee their Premier League clash against Brentford while pointing out a string of recent contentious decisions.โ

13th October 2021 at 6:23 am #186467Mourinho is a serial destroyer of clubs without going into all the many details, what good is to win a trophy when a year later every club his been sacked from is left in tatters and it takes a proper genius to restore them again

13th October 2021 at 8:24 am #186469Moos,
A) Jose is no longer our manager so why this is of relevance I don’t know
B) It’s complete BS, you are talking about someone who won 3 league titles with us and the season after we last sacked him we won it again with a new coach so he hardly destroyed us._____________________________

13th October 2021 at 9:21 am #186470Letโs be honest jose is a chelsea legend no matter what had gone on since he last left Chelsea
Whatโs your view on rudiger chums? Think he will sign? Has he been Chelseaโs best player since tuchel came in? Heโs been excellent. Solid as a rock . Very important player for Chelsea at the minute

13th October 2021 at 9:48 am #186471Rudiger looks like he might be a gonna to me Sean, Be a shame and it will cost a lot to replace him but when players come to the end of a contract that’s always a dangerous scenario. Hope I’m wrong though he’s one of Europe’s best defenders.

13th October 2021 at 10:20 am #186473Yeah I think he will be gone too he wants mental money and we not going to match his demands. He has been fantastic for us. Laughable to see links with spuds but PSG or Munich very possible.

13th October 2021 at 11:35 am #186474The thing I wonder with rudiger is that he seems to have gone up quite a few levels since he was back in team and that’s mental rather than technical or physical. Is he playing out of his skin because of the contract situation and knowing he is fighting to get his last professional contract to be a big as possible? Will that hunger still be there once he gets what he wants?
We need to have some sort of wage structure at the club I would make him joint highest earner potentially to stay and if that’s not enough his agent I am sure will has the number for PSG or even Newcastle and he can go with my best regards and gratitude for his service.
