Ampadu highly motivated by Chelsea’s new philosophy bringing youth through to the first team and his own goals.
Check what @ethanamp4 had to say when he caught up with @StevoTheMadman for @JDFootball #TalkingTekkers

20th November 2019 at 1:57 pm #53366“John Terry has dismissed claims he advised Chelsea not to sign Sergio Aguero before the striker joined Man City.
Responding to a report from The Athletic that he was not impressed by a young Aguero – and informed Chelsea staff scouting him – Terry wrote on Instagram: “Where do these get the stories from?
“If they bothered calling playersβ agents it would solve an awful lot of nonsense.” Evening Standard today.

20th November 2019 at 6:27 pm #53405Is Eden Hazard missing the love and support that he had at Chelsea? i saw the interview he has given at sky sports in which he admits he would like to haved played for Frank. at Chelsea he was the king at Real Madrid he is not even a prince. is he on the way to suffer the fate suffered by Coutinho who was the main man at Liverpool, left for Barcelona and the fans didn’t take him into their hearts like the Liverpool fans did.

20th November 2019 at 10:08 pm #53429I would hate if we play as open as we played last season and lose heavily. likewise i would hate us to be as negative as we were when we lost 1-0 Conte’s last season when we failed to register any shot. i would like us to have a clear balance where we don’t lose being solid and and also don’t lose our attacking sense. and right now attack seems to be our best weapon. but i would like Lampard to be careful.

21st November 2019 at 7:28 am #53449Looks like Pulisic might not make it and that Mount will play on the left of a front 3 with Kovacic,Kante and Jorginho in midfield. It means we lose Pulisic’s goal threat but it probably makes us better balanced for this game.

21st November 2019 at 8:01 am #53452Going to a really interesting game this lads. Iβve been really impressed by Chelsea but this is a really tough test. I fancy city as they are hurt from the Liverpool game
Pulisic will be a miss as lace is badly needed to hit city on the counter.
Chelsea canβt be to open but cranks tactics seem to be always positive.
Saturday be a good indication of were Chelsea are at but they are well ahead of schedule in my view.

21st November 2019 at 9:54 am #53470If Pulisic misses which isn’t entirey confirmed, then i would put Wilian on the left to put pressure on Walker and track his runs. i would put Mount on the right if needs be. and i would play Reece James at right back to counter Sterling. one thing that worries me is our ability to deal with Mahrez. he is a left footer who cuts inside and likes to curl the ball in the left. and Kepa has a weakness in dealing with those curled shots. i hope Kante or Kovacic whoever plays on the left of Jorginho needs to watch that. they should not let him cut inside.

22nd November 2019 at 10:48 am #53593Cman, I’m not sure Mahrez will start he didn’t start v Liverpool and that was with Silva unfit to start and on the bench.
Maybe the City lads have a clearer view on who might start for City whoever starts it’s going to be very difficult.

You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that Mahrez have a good chance of starting since Benardo and Sane are not available. Silva will start alongside Rodri and KDB. and the front 3 will be Sterling, Aguero and Mahrez. that is my guess. after coming off the back of a defeat. Guardiola is bound to make changes. and i wouldn’t be surprised if he surprises us with an un expected line up. but regardless i expect Frank to explore different scenarios to counter the City threat.

22nd November 2019 at 8:50 pm #53652Nine….I have given up trying to second guess pep but for what it is worth I think Mahrez will play. I also think we will start with a tighter formation. It should be a great football match I just hope the Ref is good for both sides and we do not have to rely on VAR

22nd November 2019 at 9:27 pm #53661Reasons why FRANK LAMPARD said he will never cross to North and manage Spurs:
“I can firmly say no. And you can replay that it ten years, or whenever you want! No, it wouldn’t happen.
But I think things are different. Jose Mourinho has worked for a lot of football clubs and you have to respect his right to work.
“On the other hand i was here for 13 years as a player, have an absolute deep feeling for the club, and I obviously went to Manchester City for a year at the end of my career. But Chelsea is certainly very close to my heart. Hence why I’m so proud to manage this club.
“And hence why I wouldn’t manage Tottenham, and that’s no disrespect to Tottenham.”
FRANK LAMPARD
