8th March 2021 at 8:04 pm #176461Ps Pagan it is without doubt at this point that the board made the correct decision, its a remarkable impact to have, although our squad is bloody good mate to be fair.

8th March 2021 at 8:52 pm #176462Another good performance all over the pitch.
Havertz Covid and injury free demonstrated why we bought him he’s got so much quality and will only get better.
Overall very happy with what I’m seeing from Chelsea and as much as I love Frank and wanted him to stay at least until the end of the season Tuchel’s made a hell of a difference.

9th March 2021 at 3:26 pm #176475I thought Harvertz in the false nine position looked very interesting last night.

9th March 2021 at 3:48 pm #176476False No 9? What we need is a consistent 20+ league goals a season centre forward, can’t remember the last one to score that many goals in three consecutive seasons, JFH was probably the last to do it two seasons on the bounce…..Pagan

9th March 2021 at 6:12 pm #176477Pagan, I don’t disagree with that my comment was based on last night’s game where Harvertz played the false 9 role and played it very well as he did regularly at Leverkusen.
If he’s half as good as Messi and Muller in that role he’ll do alright.
Last night Havertz scored a goal that was ultimately awarded as an og, earned the penalty and had a fine goal narrowly ruled out.
There’s more than one way to skin a Cat and if we buy the number 9 we want in the Summer Harvertz could still be an interesting alternative tactically in the false 9 role.

16th March 2021 at 9:51 am #176624AnonymousHazard being punished he had everything at Chelsea fame, fortune, fitness, great form, admired by all now his being seen as a loser cause he was greedy for what he thought would be more fame at the world’s biggest club. When in fact the whole world follows the EPL even the bottom teams have more world wide interest than any other country’s clubs. He has now yet another injury for 8 weeks.

17th March 2021 at 2:11 pm #176633To be fair Moos Hazard was a Real fan from a boy and Zidane was his hero and his ambition since a boy was one day to play for Real Madrid.
As much as the majority of Chelsea fans didn’t want Hazard to leave Chelsea we had him for 7 years which is unusual and few begrudged him fulfilling his lifetime ambition.
The information below suggests your somewhat wide of the mark re Sheffield United and Real Madrid.
Which football clubs have the most social media followers?
Rank Club Country Followers
1 Real Madrid Spain 252.1 million
2 Barcelona Spain 250.3 million
3 Man Utd England 142 million
4 Juventus Italy 104.1 million
5 Chelsea England 93.4 million
6 Liverpool England 92.7 million
7 PSG France 91 million
8 Bayern Munich Germany 88.7 million
9 Man City England 76 million
10 Arsenal England 75.9 million
Note: Combined total of followers from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube as of February 2021. Main official accounts only.Real Madrid and Barcelona are the football clubs with the most followers on social media across all the major channels, with no other team coming remotely close to the Clasico rivals.
Manchester United are the next most popular club online, but they are well behind Real and Barca, while Juventus follow, no doubt buoyed by the Cristiano Ronaldo effect, with just over 100 million followers.
Chelsea and Liverpool are next, with the Blues, perhaps surprisingly, marginally ahead of the six-time European champions.
Despite their relatively new stature among the traditional powerhouses of world football, Paris Saint-Germain’s online presence is considerable, with just under 100 million followers.
The French giants have social media clout that is comparable to that of Bayern Munich and bigger than that of Arsenal and Manchester City.
Seven-time European Cup-winners AC Milan have to make do with a place outside of the top 10 with just over 40 million combined followers.
Milan’s following means that they occupy the same sort of ground as their rivals Inter, Premier League side Tottenham and Brazilian giants Flamengo, who all have followings in the region of 37-38 million.

18th March 2021 at 2:12 pm #176646As much as I love Frank it’s amazing that within a few short weeks we look like a completely different team under Tuchel.
I don’t think anyone will want to draw us in Friday’s draw which is a testimony to the turnaround Tuchel has achieved in just a few short weeks.
We may have been a bit fortunate with the penalty but we were massively the better side across both legs and it would have been a travesty had we not gone through and this is the team who sits at the top of the La Liga table and beat a very good Liverpool team home and away in Last season’s CL.
Perhaps most impressive of all was Silva kicking every ball in the stands and the celebrations of Silva, Mount and Jorginho at the end of the game the togetherness in the Stand and on the pitch is there for all to see.

21st March 2021 at 5:04 pm #176747The 9 changes nearly did for us.
We have to go full strength in the Semi Final from Keeper up imo as hard as that would be on Kepa.
Good effort from Sheff Utd they put in a performance especially in the second half, fortunately luck was on our side today.

26th March 2021 at 8:35 am #176849The hamstring injury to Kante playing for France is really bad news.
Depending on the severity it could be anything from 2 weeks to 6 weeks although initial examinations in France suggest a small lesion but he will still miss some big games including the Porto away game on the 7/04.
And he’s been playing so well to. The curse of the International breaks.☹️
