999 – sounds very much like you are trying to take away from the great spurs win.

2nd November 2017 at 3:11 pm #6974Yes 999 mate, this Real Madrid team are well past their best, especially their most important players.i.e.Ramos,Modric,CR7,and Benzema, plus Bale always injured.Their La Liga title is already gone this season imho, and they are nowhere near good-enough to defend their CL title!.They require massive investments and I can see them going for the likes of Kane,Dybala,Griezmann come summer!

2nd November 2017 at 4:40 pm #6977Anonymousits crazy! 5 months ago real madrid retained the champions league. now spurs have beat them, they are well past it. 5 players in the FIFA team of the year announced last week but now they arent good enough.

2nd November 2017 at 5:31 pm #6978The very simple concept that perhaps we made them look bad by being more than a match for them over 180 minutes seems to have escaped everybody…

2nd November 2017 at 5:33 pm #6979Real this season look a poor team they are 8 points behind Barca and have already lost twice in La Liga compared to only 3 games lost across the whole of last season and are very very unlikely to win La Liga this season.
Injury is not helping Real but in the past two Summer windows they’ve made very limited investment and at club of Real’s stature with their ambitions you can’t afford to stand still and last weekend Real lost to newly promoted Girona.
This comment and the previous comment have nothing to do with Spurs it was a great win and Spurs are very likely to win the Group which when the Group was drawn looked unlikely so a great achievement by Spurs.
But this comment and the last one are focussed on Real and how they are currently seemingly going backwards.

3rd November 2017 at 8:04 am #6995Agree pax, spurs have made them look bad in last two games. Msssuve win and a real confidence booster. Looks like spurs are over their Wembley woes.
