Agree a very good start for all English sides.

28th September 2017 at 8:32 am #5602I think there’s every chance of 5 PL teams being in the Round of 16. From there?

28th September 2017 at 9:47 am #5605What a performance by PSG,not just by beating Bayern, but such a superb performance.Would not be surprised to see them lift the trophy this year. The best attacking trio in the world football that combo Mbappe-Neymar-Cavani!.What a player that young boy Mbappe!.Not many teams will be able to go toe-to-toe with PSG!

28th September 2017 at 9:48 am #5606Teams can’t be drawn against teams they were in the same Group with or from the same country in the Round of 16

28th September 2017 at 9:57 am #5608Interesting, if all 5 do manage to squeak through, that draw might take ages to make! 🙂

28th September 2017 at 1:49 pm #5617It’s always a complicated draw and politics comes into it now because teams from the Ukraine and Russia can’t be drawn together and or against each other should they get through which currently seems unlikely but they were kept apart in the Group’s draw.

28th September 2017 at 2:17 pm #5620Anonymousso after two games spurs are in an excellent position with an identical record to real madrid, 6 points ahead of dortmund. however, i feel that after gameweek 4 it will look very different. madrid will be on 12, spurs 6 and dortmund 6 – most likely. spurs face real madrid twice whilst dortmund take on apoel twice. spurs will then have to travel to dortmund and then have APOEL at home in the final game. i think going in to the final game spurs will be third and real would have qualified top quite comfortably before taking on dortmund so may rest some players. obviously it may not work out like that but i think europa beckons for spurs despite this very good start. ever the optimist!

28th September 2017 at 3:30 pm #5624Pxton.. wash your mouth out, cyber chum! As somebody mentioned already, I also fancy us to get at least a point over two games against Real! Glass half full… try it sometime! 🙂
