Yeah feel for them a bit there too. They clearly wanted it more than Utd, at least in the first half. It’s become pretty standard that the opposition keeper had the game of his life in games like these against Utd and yesterday was no different. He was sensational. Just stopped everything.

We’ll need to be better in the semi if we’ve any chance of getting to the final.

Feel for Greenwood, too. Right call to disallow his goal of course, but what a finish again from him. Such a talent we have on our hands there that I’ll lose no sleep if we don’t get Sancho tbh.

Agreed Ed United will have to be on their game in the Semi Final v Wolves or Sevilla but they should come through.

I was impressed with Inter last night too.

An Inter v United Final would be interesting. I tipped United to win the EL a while back but I think they’re going to have to play really well to win it.

If we get to the final Nine I fear Inter. Especially with Lukaku out to prove a point. He looks really sharp there now. Still, I’m much more relaxed about the EL with us not needing to win it for CL football next season. I’m sure that has crept into the minds of the players too.

I think united are well capable of winning but no means guaranteed even in this format as the FA cup showed

Sean I’m not sure United messed it up they were completely outplayed in the FA Cup Semi Final by Chelsea unfortunately Chelsea didn’t take that form into the Final v Arsenal and complacency,injuries and some dodgy refereing did for them.

Agree Steve. Wolves have given all the top PL sides probes this season and Sevilla finished level with Atletico who were too good for Liverpool in the CL so we have a very tough semi before we can even think about Inter, assuming they get through too.

I said we’d struggle in the FA Cup. We were showing signs of exhaustion for a few games prior to the game and Chelsea were much sharper than us. We had very little rest time compared to Chelsea but Ole should have managed the squad better in all honesty.
