Good effort by Spurs in the 2nd half it could have been a lot worse but Spurs are still in it albeit they face a bit of an uphill task in Leipzig. I thought Ampadu had a good game.

Okay, more than fair to say RB were the better team for about the first 65 minutes, and could have been out of sight within the first 5, annoyed about Davies’s brain fart to give the goal, whatever the Gedsen experiment was it failed (totally blame Maureen for that one), and considering how we played for the last 25 I’m going to say we’re not out of it yet… 2nd favourites for sure, but in a better position than Valencia!!!

wasnt the worst game to watch, and spuds should be fairly happy at 1-0, only half time, still plenty of time, why does Maureen not play Troy?? he is a striker, give the lad a chance, at least its his position and other kids are tearing it up so why not!??

Yeap, could have been a lot worse… expect Troy will at least be on the bench next leg… bloody hope so at any rate… still can’t get my head around Gedson over N-Dumb… it’s not as though Gedson was much worse than everybody else for the first 60/65 minutes, but the overall team was a lot better after the subs!

chucky – ndombele is clearly a better player, although gedson isn’t bad at all, he just can’t handle the pace of the premier league and can only play 50-60 minutes. last night Leipzig played at a much higher pace than most premier league teams so he would’ve been finished after about 15 minutes. Once they started to tire he came on with lamela and they changed the game.
we were very lucky to escape with a 1-0 defeat. could’ve been 2-0 after a minute. i thought they were a lot better against us than bayern were and they managed to put 7 past us

With regards to Dele throwing a strop, on one hand (the glass half-full) at least he cares, on the other hand (glass half-empty), perhaps he should have been playing better… not his best game by a long shot!
Probably right Paxo, use Gedson’s legs to keep up, and then let N-Dumb have a crack, does make sense. But for 50 odd million and 200k a week, would expect somebody who can occasionally play 90 minutes… 🙂
Not saying for one minute we deserved a draw or it wasn’t a peno, but it is bloody annoying when their only goal was basically a brain fart rather than proper goal…

How did Werner do? Or Upamecano? Two heavily linked with the PL. Their right back Konate is also very highly rated and wouldn’t surprise me if he makes a move to a big boy soon. Also plays centre back.

3ps-DU didnt play and neither did Olmo & Haidara start,which was strange.If that cock Schick had its shooting boots on the game would have been over in the 1st few mins.But I tell you what,Klostermann,Holstenberg,Laimer,Sabitzer & Nkunku are some players,which Im sure you know already? They are that good they could be signed and play for Utd today.Not saying this tie its over,but they schooled Spurs for amost 70 mins!

The Atletico president talking about Anfield : “Anfield is a great stadium but it’s old. It probably wouldn’t pass the UEFA inspection if it had to do it,”. Now most of what he’s said is positive stuff about his own team but that’s kinda cocky 😛
I would like to know what kinda character this guy is cause if it’s banter, it’s pretty good TBH. I mean, the cheek to speak down to maybe the most feared stadium to visit in the world ATM. That’s how I hope it is and that he wasn’t just being arrogant. I do desperately want to batter Atletico after all their antics. I think Klopp said they weren’t too bad, compared to before… they were really bad. He’s just naturally magnanimous. Of course you can’t be too honest with the press though, they’ll run with it and paint a nasty, bitter picture, so I’m glad Klopp is this way on the outside.
