Heads up the 115s never wanting anyone to mention they have 115 charges. Cease and desist in place for anyone who mentions they have 115 charges.
This reminds of someone who walks in to the gym for the 1st time, looks around people who naturally worked out for decades, started taking steroids to catch up and denied ever taking steroids to catch up.
Anyone who cheats will resort to any costs to never ever been caught cheating.

7th May 2024 at 8:04 am #214517Covering themselves up with something and it ain’t glory, that’s for sure…
Still think they’ll get away with it, just like OJ!!

7th May 2024 at 6:22 pm #214527I’m waiting for Chucky to come on here and tells us he’s been legally threatened for continuously calling them the 115 on footydebate!
It’s a bit petty, freedom of speech and all that.
I also think they will get away with most of it, maybe a small fine for non-cooperation. The biggies, covering up your expendiature and falsifying your sponsorship income, involve so many people and organisations outside of City or their group, with some being multi billion dollar companies or high rankers in them, that it will be very difficult to prove the charges.
How do non-City fans feel if they are not found guilty? I am not sure I can continue to invest time into sport where cheats do indeed prosper. It might likely be the final nail in my coffin as a football supporter.

7th May 2024 at 6:49 pm #214530Deviating away from this slightly, Forest’s appeal was turned down. I just don’t feel confident even if the book gets thrown out, they’ll be a ‘loophole’ found and we’re no way to bringing this to the sanction that should be enforced IF guilty.

7th May 2024 at 7:58 pm #214531They are the Lance Armstrong of football.
I question how much of Peps success has been done cleanly. Getting the Doctor at Bayern pushed out because the doctor refused to give the players growth hormone due to the number of injuries, charges for financial doping, Barcelona being charged for paying off refs.

7th May 2024 at 8:01 pm #214532Don’t think they will get away with everything, just don’t see them relegated.Tirles taken away and pnts deducted, same for Chelsea, like with Everton and Forest!

7th May 2024 at 8:21 pm #214533Really don’t see the point in taking away titles etc… every title they’ve bought has an asterix by them anyway and don’t really count to start with… and who do you give those titles too? Or would the records books have blank pages in them… they should be relagated as much as the rules allow… that really is the only punishment that actually would be a punishment… fines? They’ve got money to burn… 40 point deduction? They’d still stay up…

9th May 2024 at 3:20 pm #214544Absolutely no surprise that Michael Oliver, already on the payroll of City’s owners through his stints in the UAE, is chosen to referee the FA Cup final.
Re the charges, there’s absolutely no way City are getting any kind of real punishment. They’ll get off with a small fine IMO. They no doubt have the best legal team money can buy so will find some way to get off.

The Premier league have got two or three of the bigest firms in the City Inc the leading sports law KV money can buy.So it’s hardly “David vs Goliath” Ed.I believe (from what I’ve seen and been told) MCFC will be cleared 100% of all charges ( This original thread started about Goldbridge getting a cease and desist letter was absolute bollocks btw.Another load of shite from twitter from CM ala his Var thread also.
Have a read of page 38 & 39 of the CAS report (link below)

9th May 2024 at 7:28 pm #214547I meant on VAR duty Paul. It’s a disgrace that it’s not considered a conflict of interest. He should never be allowed to officiate City matches, surely?

9th May 2024 at 7:49 pm #214548He’s regarded as one of our top three refs Ed.He cost us with dodgy decisions in the past also.
How did Mike Riley get the head of PGMOL gig after this blatant corruption ?
United fans whinging about City having refs in their pockets.Yet when Ferguson was in charge
did your lot never got any dodgy decisions ?All rival fans mention Howard Webb was another Fergie had in his pocket?

9th May 2024 at 7:53 pm #214549All that nonsense about Utd is completely missing the point Paul and a very weak attempt at insinuating it’s not uncommon. You must see how him being paid by City’s owners is a blatant conflict of interest. It would be great if you could answer the point without resorting to whataboutery. It surely can’t even be in City’s interest to have that conflict of interest?

9th May 2024 at 8:10 pm #214551That famous Manchester United Vs Arsenal game, where Arsenal fans still selectively choose what decisions went against them and completely ignore the decisions that went for them, including 1 where Ashley Cole takes out Ronaldo in the box and does not concede a penalty.
United never had Riley on the payroll, City owners have PL refs on the payroll to officiate in the UAE. Some of the decisions City have had over the years, have been dubious to say the least.
This was in the same game that Paul up.

9th May 2024 at 8:12 pm #214552I don’t know if MCFC have payed him. It’s the Premier league (who’ve stuck 115 charges on us) who pick the refs not me.Surely he would have to of asked them for permission to go?
I’m fairly sure Oliver must of been cleared by them since for him to officiate our games?
Or is this another load of bollocks on social media ?

9th May 2024 at 8:19 pm #214556If the owners of a football club want you to officiate in the league thye run, the questions need to be asked, why are the PL not intervening.
Whatevers the reasons are, the PL are out of depth. They had Oliver(Newcastle fan), officiate in United games, when United and Newcastle were both challenging for the top 4 spot.
