Adlab, I can understand the strength of your reaction on the Bennett tackle and it does look ridiculous but the FA won’t re Ref games Bennett was given a yellow card and once that happens they won’t go back to it albeit the punishment doesn’t match the offence.
That has nothing to do with David Gill that rule applies to everyone so it’s not anti City mate.

29th January 2018 at 8:28 pm #14096Warnock said that the tackle deserved a red card. Both lawrenson and Mowbray as well as the guys in the studio all said Barnett should have been given a red card. That linesman who disallowed Silva’s goal should have told the ref about the tackle. Barnett has apologised. I’m sorry but I simply don’t believe that Warnock told his players to break the legs of City players. What this showed is that Cardiff are nowhewre near as good as Bristol City who harrassed City in both games bt didn’t clog our players. If Aguero gets injured we may be in the soup. One thing’s for sure Sterling still misses opportunities.

29th January 2018 at 8:35 pm #14098GJblues this season weve had Cook on Jesus at Bmouth, Yacob on Gundogwan at West brom, Kane On Sterling and Ali on KDB Spurs, Murphy on Gundog at Ncastle, Puncheon on KDB at Palace. Bennet on Sane and Diaz at Cardiff. That’s 8 that all should have been straight red card offences by the letter of the law. The only one I’ve missed out was mane and even large sections of the media didn’t think that was a red Ffs. If I’m honest I don’t actualy think there is a set agenda. I actually think that Refs have been giving teams who are being outplayed or are underdogs against us a lenient time subconsciously. Oh it’s City they will win anyway. Cardiff need a chance if they are to get anything from the game etc. And this hasn’t been helped by the likes of the odious Murphy and Barton openly saying opposition players should foul our players and Pogba says he hopes some get injured to even things up. That kind of shite sticks in Refs heads. Its either that or they are just plain incompetent and should be sacked. The other issue is clearly this bollox about not being able to appeal or increase yellow cards. Referees are abysmal currently. Just not up to standard for such a high profile and important sport.

29th January 2018 at 8:40 pm #14099No conspiracy on the FA cup draw. I actually think we will beat Wigan. But I also think there is a very good chance we will lose a player to a straight red card foul and the Wigan player will not get punished , aside from a possible yellow card. Its happening about every three games on average. Opposition players know they will get off with Kicking f**k out of City players. The statistics back that statement up regardless of what anybody thinks.

29th January 2018 at 8:45 pm #14101Dr Ian, I don’t think Warnock said go out and break their legs but I would bet my bottom dollar he told them to deliberately foul and rough up our players. Those tackles wernt just miss timed they were deliberate.

29th January 2018 at 8:53 pm #14107Jim, currently English refs are just plain incompetent. It’s no coincidence none have been chosen to go to the World Cup.
As they are now full time professionals (???) they should also be as fit as the players. Mason was no where near able to keep up with Sane’s break yesterday and as a result, I feel, wasn’t in a good enough position to see the true force and maliciousness of the tackle – in the end he just guessed and took the easy option._____________________________

29th January 2018 at 9:14 pm #14110I do not believe in the conspiracy theory but I do believe in incompetance of officials, who are just not up to standard in the UK. City players are targeted, no doubt about that that is another reason why we need an enforcer, Barca and Munich had them, the last one we had was the Dutchman.Vierra was also good at this but we had him too late . We had better start training on Rugby pitches for Wigan, watching the W,Ham game the surface looked bobly. Wigan will try and play football though unlike Cardiff.
