Another fixture with a team that will go all out for a win. We can’t be complacent and have to play Silva and KDB in midfield from the start for me. Then sub one of them if we get a couple of goal up. Wonder if Zinchecko will start. Seemed possibly at fault for the second goal midweek, that aside he brings more than Danilo going forwards. Hope Diaz gets a run out. Also need a strong ref as Warnock will certainly ask his players to kick ours. 0-3 City.

28th January 2018 at 8:09 pm #14027Good performance today without having to break sweat. Never really extended which is good with WBA due up on Wednesday.
Pathetic decision by the linesman to rule out Silva’s goal – Sane was onside – where’s VAR when you need it – not that it mattered in the end.
Horrendous ‘tackle’ on Sane, could easily have broken his leg. Hope he’s ok.
Anyway another hurdle taken care of.

Warnock. What a Pratt.Anybody said sorry?
Silva’s goal should have stood.
All in all good performance dreadful, biased criminal referee.

29th January 2018 at 6:34 am #14031AnonymousWarnock is and will always be an idiot. How can anyone justify such criminal tackling. Hopefully they will stay in their division and never get promoted to the EPL.

29th January 2018 at 8:23 am #14034Very poor tackle on Sane which should have seen red. Sadly it injured Sane and he may miss the League Cup Final.

29th January 2018 at 8:44 am #14035And what sanctions will there be against the referee?
Still. Should keep Pogba happy as he craves City injuries.

29th January 2018 at 8:46 am #14036Nine, These tackles are calculated and dare I say it are being done with the tacit agreement of the refs. That’s about the sixth or seventh straight red card an opposition player should have received against us in tbe past 2 months but only a caution is even given. Ie no retrospective action can be taken. Something stinks!

29th January 2018 at 9:35 am #14037I think the Referees and media play in to the lesser opposition’s tune. they feel if a smaller team’s player breaks the leg of the bigger team players. it will be good for the contest. i’m sure if a City player made that tackle and a Cardiff City player was on the receiving end. there would have been an outrage around the media. and certain quartets in the Neville brothers and Carragher would come out guns blazing and be slamming City for being unprofessional. unfortunately that is the double standard that we have to live with. as a Chelsea fan we had been living with that double standard for the past 15 years. and sadly City may have joined us. you will never have a fair treatment from the Media or FA as long as you are successful and from Manchester. i wish the lad quick recovery, he has been in fantastic form.

29th January 2018 at 9:48 am #14038Cman, with respect mate that’s not right I don’t believe for one minute that Referees or the Media want to see any player get his legs broken.
As for Media bias that of course does exists every journo supports someone and there are too many pundits from certain clubs and its “tall poppy syndrome” too.

29th January 2018 at 9:58 am #14040No 999, having been looking these trends for quite along time. and Chelsea have been on the receiving end of some of the most brutal challenges in football. and some goes unpunished whilst others are given lesser punishment. but when a Chelsea player makes similar challenge and they get maximum punishment. i came to conclusion that the Media influence the refereeing decisions and the FA charge. if they hype certain incident, the FA throw the book on that player or club. and Mark Clattenburg’s testimony is one such example. the flair players of Chelsea are targeted. and i can now see that has been expanded to City.
